I found a huge hole in the soffit that was above an attached shed on the house I'm renting. After 12 months of waiting to see if my landlord would fix it, I took the matter into my own hands. I constantly deal with opossums and cats getting into the attic, and now I know how. The problem is there is less than 4 inches of clearance between where the soffit should be and the roof of the attached shed. So, I bought this mesh and a can of exterior expanding foam. It was easy to ball up sections of the mesh and shoot a little foam in the middle, then stuff the hole (we're talking like a 6" x 9" hole). I packed the hole with several such balls and held it in place until the foam expanded enough to do its job. A few shots of more foam around the perimeter and in a few cracks, and now that it has dried, the whole thing is rock hard. Good luck getting through. It may not be the prettiest patch, but you have to get up on a ladder to see it, so who cares?

I neither like or dislike this product. It is simple and does what I needed it for. BTW that is to fill small holes in an old camper trailer to keep out those damn field mice!

One of the fun discoveries as a somewhat new house owner is learning just how common it is for mice to find their way into your home. It's been especially interesting finding out just how small of an entrance those little guys can sneak into. I searched my entire house to find out how they were getting in and I found a bunch of dime sized openings that were used for pipes or wires. I learned about a bunch of different "solutions" online such as spray foam, or certain deterrents, but I kept finding people saying it might buy you time, but they'll find a way in. I learned from some helpful redditors that copper mesh combined with spray foam was the way to go. So far it's been absolutely perfect. The mice can chew through spray foam, even the stuff that claims to have bitterant, but they can't chew through the copper mesh. What I did was stuff the mesh into the holes and made sure to seal it up as much as possible with the foam. I actually have found a few attempts where the foam has clearly been chewed, but the attempt stops when they reach some of the mesh. I haven't found a single mouse in the house since I bought this. Highly recommend. Great price, great amount of mesh, should be more than enough to seal up the vast majority of homes.

Stuff it is great for plugging weep holes in your brick to keep out insects, mice, snakes and geckos, while still allowing moisture to escape.Material is easy to cut with the scissors that were included.

Easy to use from roll. Very pliable. Very light. I’m using for rodent control so time will tell. It’s nice that Sharp scissors are included, And it will be easy to store any excess.

This product seemed to work well for a couple days against snails/slugs, however, I was handpicking them out nightly as well.After a few days I started seeing BLUE SLIME Streaks everywhere and my strawberries were heavily eaten :(I had already gone ahead and purchased a second roll. That I am now going to return. I'm not sure if this is real copper or not. But it is questionable!It did come with a sharp pair of cheap scissors which was great though!UPDATE:The company reached out to me expressing their concern from my review and offered to help. Because of their AMAZING customer service, I have upgraded my review and added an additional star.I still wouldn't suggest this for snails & slugs, but I'm sure it's great for pests etc.Truly Superior customer service though.

Shipped quickly and was easy to cut and handle. Seems to have done the job of stopping the critter traffic into my house. No sounds in my walls since!
