Bought this as a joke gift for a certain horse (but not human) lover-- she absolutely LOVES it. She hasn't used it yet so can't discuss heat resistance etc. But certainly as "decor" it is wonderful!

I thought this might be mostly for amusement, not the quality to actually use. I was wrong though, very well made. In fact, better made than the ones I already have. A lot of those mitts are so thick and stiff that they aren't really great for grabbing muffin tins or cookies sheets out of the oven. This one is just right. Thick enough to offer the protection you need while still being able to easily grab the smaller cookware .

This oven mitt is great and at a reasonable price and is amusing to me and my guests. Picking things up can still be awkward, as with all oven mitts, but it is thinner than one I had previously, which is an improvement.

I don’t use it when I cook. It’s hanging from a magnetic hook. Absolutely adorable. Hits the nail right on the head for my sorry A$$ waste of 42 yr farce of a marriage.
