Long lasting when fitted correctly

These would be great for a normal wooden door, but they're much too strong for my fly-screen door, it makes it bend and flex and then needs a lot of "push" to open it, so sadly Ive had to remove it. Great value though, and I'll be transferring them to a couple of internal doors.

The principle is great, it works & is value for money, but, unfortunately the adhesive hook pad came away on 2 out of 3, however, this is easily remedied by replacing the light plastic hook mount with an independent standard screw-in- hook, to the surface.The cord end, or mount is heavier plastic & screws to the surface, perhaps the hook mount should be of same principle. Regardless, I'd buy again....Hope this helps!

My older one, which was attached to the door, broke, and I was looking for a replacement, so I bought this. It works as expected, but the spring (?) is a bit too strong and closes the door with too much power. It does the job OK, but it would be nicer if it were slightly easier to pull the string.

Unable to use as no way to adjust strength of (door) opening. It is set to incredibly strong so would have taken 2 people to fit (1 holding each end) and risk of squashing dog/human/child as door snapped shut very likely! Did check with them and they agree non-adjustable, they just waste everyone's time by not stating it on the ad.I am hoping to return the pack of 2 as unsuitable for use but imagine I will get stung for postage hence warning here. Best don't buy unless door/users very heavy/strong.

Easy to install. Works well but the first one snapped after about a month. Thought I just had a dodgy one, so fitted the second. That lasted about a week and also snapped. It’s a light door so no real pressure put on it, shame as it’s quiet, unobtrusive and did the job…well, for a while. Shame.

After the 4th time of cutting my head on a kitchen cupboard door, (I frequently forgot to close it.) I was ready to remove the door. Thanks to the door closer, that's no longer necessary. It was so quick and easy to install and the door closed quickly and quietly! Many thanks.

Bought these to help close a Kitchen Larder Door. Unfortunately, there is only one place on the Door Frame that it will fit and when connected it does not close the door when it is fully open...Good Quality but I fear the adhesive attachments will give way over time. Nice idea but take care to ensure it will fit and where you install it...
