A great small speaker to give you high-quality audio in a large room
If you're looking to add wireless speakers, etc. to your TV or other entertainment devices, Sonos is the way to go. Sonos is quite expensive, but you're buying not only high-quality audio devices but also the flexibility of being wireless for sound and the interconnectedness of all the Sonos devices. The Sonos app recognizes all of your various devices and makes it easy for them to work together. You can assign devices to specific rooms or, if you want, set up a home audio network where music is played everywhere. The Sonos app also integrates access to Apple Music, Amazon Music, or just the Sonos music that they offer. For a home theater, starting with a Sonos soundbar opens the door for adding other Sonos speakers and a Sonos subwoofer. The sound bar, while using the Sonos application on your smartphone, will recognize other speakers and a subwoofer in the room. You also can configure the speakers to work separately, or they can be part of a surround sound system tied to the Sonos sound bar. The nice thing about each of the system audio components is that individually, you can touch the component (a speaker or soundbar for example) and control the room sound level, so you don't always have to go to the Sonos app on your smartphone to do so. You can get great sound for your entertainment system without requiring a receiver and complicated wiring. Generally, you just need: • A power cable • An HDMI cable for connecting to a TV • Preferably an Ethernet cable so all the devices can work over your Wi-Fi network • The Sonos subwoofer can work wirelessly, without requiring an Ethernet cable connection which is optional

Finally, a speaker that actually lives up to the Spatial Audio hype!
I’ve been a long-time Sonos user, starting with the Sonos one to buying the Sonos Roam and now this. I was skeptical if the Era 300 would truly feel like a "generational leap," but after a month of testing, I’m sold. This isn't just a louder speaker; it’s a completely different listening experience. What I Loved: Immersive Spatial Audio: If you use YouTube Music, the Dolby Atmos tracks are incredible. The upward-firing driver actually works—you get a genuine sense of height and a "wrap-around" soundstage that a single speaker shouldn't be able to produce. Massive Soundstage: Even with standard stereo tracks, the Era 300 fills a large room much better than the Era 100 or the older Sonos One. It feels wide and airy. Connectivity Options: Huge win here. Having Bluetooth on a flagship Sonos speaker is a relief for guests, and the USB-C line-in (via adapter) makes it easy to connect other devices. Things to Consider: The Design: It’s "unique." The cinched-waist look is polarizing, and it’s significantly larger than a Sonos One. Make sure you have the shelf space (or the specific Era 300 stands). Price Point: It’s a premium investment. To get the most out of it, you really need a subscription to a service that supports Atmos. Line-in Adapter: Note that the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter is sold separately. At this price, it would have been nice to see it included. The Verdict: If you are looking for a standalone speaker for a medium-to-large room, the Era 300 is currently the best in the Sonos lineup. Bottom Line: If you care about Dolby Atmos and want a speaker that feels "future-proof," this is the one to get.

Worth the upgrade from SL One
Excellent sound as you’d expect from Sonos. Upgraded from SL Ones as rear speakers with the sound bar and one sub. Worth the upgrade. Put the SL ones in other rooms for full home sound. Works great when you’re cleaning from room to room while listening to music

Sounds Much Larger Than It Is
I can’t believe how good this speaker sounds. I’m having trouble justifying my two giant Klipsch floor speakers in my living room while this thing in my kitchen sounds just as good. I don't think you even need a sub with this speaker. The bass is punchy but not muddy. Songs in Spatial Audio from iTunes sounds great while playing through the Sonos app. I am basically using this ERA 300 in my kitchen dining room area and find it to be more than adequate. I would definitely recommend this speaker. Setting it up through the Sonos app was quick and easy. A pair of these could probably fill a larger area, but for my needs one speaker is plenty.

Great surrounds for my Sonos home theater
Amazing quality and sound. I was debating whether or not to get an AV receiver and wired speakers. The clincher was that I didn't have room for a large receiver and I didn't want to run wires. The sound with these as my surrounds + arc ultra and sub 4 are excellent. So nicely integrated with my Sony Bravia and I don't have to choose a source every time I want to watch TV. Also works well playing music from Spotify or Amazon. Pricey for the entire system - over $2k, but the quality and integration is worth it.

Sound is amazing. App is frustrating.
My first Sonos experience. The good: Packaging was really nice, well done, easy to access and the overall setup and install was very easy and intuitive. Pairing the two in a speaker group was easy as well and the sound is incredible. Rich, deep, and immersive. It feels like my entire living room, vaulted ceilings and all, is a studio space with sound that I think would be hard to beat at this price point. I just smile every time I turn them on. Support for Apple AirPlay is a big, big plus. The frustrating: The app. It's not intuitive to use on a daily basis, controls don't make sense, but most of that I would overlook if the app just worked consistently. I have app crashes on my iOS device, frequently, and frustration with sound control and synching the playback with my Move 2 which I just recently purchased from Sonos as well. I'm honestly shocked at how poor the app is give the quality of the speakers. The middle of the road stuff: The voice integration works well enough. I find that many of my voice commands simply are not understood but it might be my prompting and how I'm trying to interact. It's not as intuitive as Alexa devices or Siri, but for the basics it works well enough. On the fence regarding expanding my Sonos footprint at home. I really want to, the sound is amazing, but the app really, really needs some help.

The atmos and depth of surrounding are excellent. Sonos quality is excellent.
We bought these as surrounds. Like most people purchasing these we have the Arc ultra and a sub. We wanted the up firing atmos to be more theater like. Really is amazing. These scared the heck out of my wife when a thunder and lightning seen blasted into the first movie we watched with them. :) We also have play 5s, but I actually like these much better as surrounds due to the up-firing atmos. They are superbly packaged. Quality from top to bottom. I’ve never had a Sonos product have any issue since they first hit the market. Best part is we can crank them up because we are “getting on in years” - so we have a “legitimate” excuse :)

Amazing soundstage – just missing the bass punch (add a Sub!)
I recently picked up two Sonos Era 300s to pair with my Sonos Arc, and I’m super impressed. The Era 300s add a whole new level of depth and spatial audio, especially when watching Dolby Atmos content. Movies and music feel incredibly immersive – it's like being in the middle of the action. Setup was easy, and everything syncs flawlessly through the Sonos app. The Era 300s really shine as rear surrounds – clear highs, wide soundstage, and great imaging. That said, I highly recommend adding the Sonos Sub to complete the experience. While the Arc has decent low end, once you hear it with the Sub, there’s no going back. The bass really fills the room and ties everything together. If you're building a premium home theater setup with Sonos, this combo (Arc + 2x Era 300 + Sub) is the way to go!

A SONOS é simplesmente incrível
