Pen & Ink Sketching Step by Step (Dover Art Instruction)

Good book to read and learn from for all ages

You never really know what you're going to get with these types of books as the preview doesn't show anything useful. But got to say this looks great. It has lots of sketching examples and shows how the sketches should look at different stages. Also has a variety of complete scenes to provide inspiration.

A helpful guide.

I have two or three books on pen and ink drawing, and this one is very good.I also have Arthur Guptill's rendering in pen and ink. and I found that more useful, but Frank J Lohan's book is full of useful techniques, and may be the only one you will need. not a bad buy.

Interesting book and as I am a beginner in pen and ink art I found it easy to follow.

a really wonderful book that gives you lots of ideas too. the artist is clear about how to do things....obviously we all have our own style and manner of carrying out our art, but this books does give ways to improve your style. Great book

A very interesting and easy to use book. Takes you step by step with what, at first glance, looks quite complicated. Suddenly you find yourself thinking, " oh, is that all you have to do?! " I can do that. Recommended
