Although I like this hosepipe overall and it seems to be very good quality, I was initially disappointed when opening the package. I had wrongly assumed it was the type that holds a spiral shape when not in use, so that when you have finished watering, it springs back to a coil and saves you rolling it up. Sadly, it is not this but rather a lightweight expandable hose in fabric housing. It takes up much less space than a standard hosepipe and is also far lighter to use, so I do think it will be a great boon to me in the garden this summer (still waiting for the proper weather to really put it through its paces) despite not being quite what I had hoped for. It does also come with a fabric dtrawstring bag and a wall mounted hanger, so if I were properly organised (I am emphatically not) there are options to tidy it away between uses. I was also impressed by the brass fittings which seem very good quality and fit easily to my tap with no adapters necessary. The included nozzle has 10 different functions, impressive pressure, and an extra switch to stop the flow even if the handle is depressed accidentally, which is a really nice touch. Seems a fantastic quality item for the price (currently £23.09) and I’m sure it will get plenty of use this summer, it almost makes me look forward to watering!

I tried a few of this type of expandable hose before and to be honest, they were not very durable. The external fabric/material tore and the plastic tube inside broke which was impossible to fix. So I had to throw them away.Despite the fact that this type of hose is not very durable, I do like them being light and easy to store. So I hope this one will impress me. This hose is expandable to 50 feet long. The connection to my garden tap was simple. I tested it out after connected to the tap and it was functioning fine, no leakage was detected yet. It has 10 pattern nozzle with some are stronger in spraying which is great for car wash or cleaning the slab. It's winter time now so I don't need to use it that much but I am keeping a star first as I want to see its durability when it is being used in the summer.

I was very suprised when it first was delivered as it was all wrapped up and was so light, I couldn't think what it was. Then I found it was the 50ft hose in a tiny little bag weighing practically nothing.I received this after the wettest autumn in records and in the middle of a cold snap with everywhere frozen solid. Not the best conditions to test.When I did come to test it, when it was a bit warmer in February, I found that my tap was too small for the hose end. Not knowing anything about how to measure a tap size or hose, I measured my tap to be 3/4" as that was the width of the outside screw thread.Wrong! I later found I am supposed to measure the inside width of the tap hole instead.I also measured the hose end on the inside of the thread, which definitely was 1", but which I am now told is really 3/4". All very mysterious to me!After trying to find a hose adjuster to address the situation on Google, the local hardware store and local garden centre, I hit upon the thought of looking at Plumbing instead.I described what I wanted to a friend and was told I needed a "reducer" which will allow a wider hose to attach to a smaller tap. After buying a 1" to 3/4" reducer (WRONG!!) and then buying a 3/4" to 1/2" reducer for £2 in the local hardware shop, I could now test it!It all joined up very easily. I filled the hose with water with the handy on/off switch at the far end turned to shut (off) and then emptied it, as advised in the instructions.Then I attached the spray head and turned the hose on.Very happy with the spray. There are so many variations of spray shape and I can see a use for all of them. So much easier than my old basic twisty nozzle which never did work very well and always popped off when I turned it off.Even full of water, the hose is very easily to pull around and is so much lighter than my old one.I'm looking forward to not dragging around my old heavy plastic hose, this summer, trying not to squash plants with it on the way to the corners of the garden.I can't comment on how well it lasts as I've only just tried it out but will come back later in the year if there are any problems.I must add that the seller couldn't have been more polite and patient trying to help me with the problem of attaching it to my tap but unfortunately they didn't advise me on how i should be measuring the tap, but i got there in there end.

This is a good sized hose that expands to 50 feet. It comes with a handy hanger and bag for keeping everything coiled and tidy.The ten multi function sprayer is great for a variety of outdoor uses, cleaning, gardening and more. It looks well made and durable with no leaks or tears. It connects to our fittings with no issues.I would definitely recommend this hose.

A Handy size hose that expands to 50 foot . Easy to fit hanger provided for the hose is a good idea. Hose is connected to tap via 3/4 bsp screw fitting. I have an adapter fitted to my tap for quick disconnects etc.The hose is well made but I would suggest to keep away from frosts . The shrinkage of the hose makes for easy storage. The spray gun. Nozzle is a good addition no leaks apart from a small drip on the trigger. 10 multi function sprayer is useful for washing the car / spaying the plants etc .Hose also comes with a bag for easy storage.Overall this is a reasonably good hose which I would be happy to recommend.
