Mexican Train Dominoes Double 15 | 136 Colorful Number Dominos Tiles Travel Board Game for Family Nights, Cognitive Strategy Game for 2-8 Players

We have played a lot of Mexican Train with my 20 year old 91 tile dominoes set. Lately, the number of players has expanded from the usual 4 to 6 to 7 or 8 and 91 tiles just isn't enough. This new set has 136 tiles up to the double 15 tile face. The tiles are nearly identical in dimensions, coloring, and feel to my high quality old set so they stand up, shuffle, and play very much the same. My first order of business was to open all the shrink-wrapped packages of tiles and lay them out to inspect quality and that all the dot sets were complete. I am happy to report the quality of all the dot markings was great with uniform indentions and coloring. I was also relieved to find that each and every tile dot combination was present and accounted for. If you are playing Mexican Train with a larger group as described above, this is the set to buy and it is very reasonably priced.

Our friends loved playing the game and the case made it easy to keep it all together.

We are thrilled that these tiles are thicker than usual, which makes it easier to stand up while playing. Then fit nicely in the travel bag and are easy to store when not playing.Important to note, you need to check to make sure you have every tile needed to play, as some have found certain tiles missing or incorrect duplicates. Also check the back to make sure there is no blemish or marks on them as that can make it easy for some to memorize which tile has a number on the front and have an advantage when playing.

The media could not be loaded. I like how the company carefully packages the dominoes so that the case is protected and the dominoes arrive in tact. The colors are better than other brands I’ve ordered (think this is the 6th set I’ve ordered). I’m still looking for metallic bright colors but can’t find them. They are a nice quality, heavy, good size, well packaged and organized. The carrying case seems durable and the zippers are easy to open and close.

My son actually wanted a new set. The quality great, portability case also great. And arrived a day early.

This is a good set of dominos! They are not ceramic, but they are a high quality plastic with plenty of heft. The printing/etching of the numbers is high quality. The lines are crisp, and the colors are solid and consistently applied.The case feels high quality, and I am confident it will last. The zipper doesn't feel as strong as I would like, but the case fits together so well and there is nothing in the way that could get caught in the zipper so I am not worried about this.It can be quite a chore to stack and get all the dominos back in the case after play, they fit very well, but fitting very well means nicely stacking them and not just tossing them in the container to put them up.It comes with a great instruction manual that gives the rules for several variations of dominos games, and even includes a lot of fun suggestions for playing with toddlers, such as using them in memory and matching games. Very happy with this set, it delivers value for the comparatively high price (these are MUCH better than other cheaper plastic dominos I have used previously).
