A great resource for GCP practitioners
The book introduces Terraform concepts and provides an accessible guide to improving and leveling up Terraform skills. As a seasoned GCP and Terraform user, I still gained knowledge from this book that will be exciting to bring back and apply in my daily work.

Not worth the price
It was just okay. Some useful stuff, but teaching method can be improved. Moves too fast. No practice questions at all. When the author explains something but instead refers you to the official docs several times, then you're better off saving the money and just going through the online guide. Additionally the subpar print quality isn't worth paying the full price. The book doesn't feel nice. I also don't like how the font for the code is chosen. The formatting is bad, code gets cut off and the terrible black and white images.. while charging you a price at O'Reilly level.Look elsewhere. Look at official docs and work from there. If you decide to get it, then be prepared to reread some chapters to get a good solid understanding of the fundamentals.Good idea for a book, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.I'd buy it for $15. Not worth $40.

Great source for learners of Terraform on Google Cloud
This book is one of a few resources for Google Cloud users who want to improve their knowledge of Terraform. It includes a lot of GCP-specific knowledge and Terraform constructs which is an excellent sign that author didn’t write “just another book about Terraform” but explained HOW to use Terraform with Google Cloud effectively.I like that the author went a bit further than just focusing on Terraform&GCP but also included some helpful information about tools like Terragrunt, Checkov, and tflint. While everything in the book looks pretty good and logical (to my mind, as being AWS expert), I would like to see a bit better formatting of the code snippets where double quotes are sometimes wrong, so users won’t be able to copy-paste the code from the PDF right away. :)

Comprehensive Guide for Any Google Cloud Practitioner
I have been a Google Cloud user for while. I have used terraform but not that much. This book is a good primer to Terraform for me. Although the example are in GCP, but the first 5 chapter is useful for anyone trying to learn Terraform. The last two chapter covers more advanced topics like tooling and using terraform with cloud build. The examples are clear and it covers more than just the basics. I found the examples were easy to follow along and the code was also made available for me to try the examples out myself.Overall I think this book is a good starting point and reference for using Terraform with Google Cloud.

Excellent book
If you are using Google Cloud and have not yet mastered Terraform, this is a great book to help. It covers everything from provisioning your first server with Terraform to integrating Terraform with most Google services like CloudRun, GKE, CloudBuild and more. I like to actually run the examples provided in the book and then make some changes to experiment. The book provides a Github repo with all the examples so they can easily be run. This book will not disappoint.
