Other than making my turntable look sleek, it works well and has noticeably stopped some of my older albums jumping around. Well worth the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth it *by M***R on 15 July 2018* Was a bit cynical that this could make a difference but it does. Most turntables belt or direct drive will take the weight and will not slow down, but if you have a belt drive and you haven’t changed the belt for quite a few years, you might best invest in a new belt first, as it may slip or slow down. Holds the record nicely in place and just sits over the spindle. Place your record on the turntable and then put the weighted clamp over the spindle, move the arm to start or turn the switch and off it goes. Keep it in the box with one of the packing pieces moved to keep it clean and dust free.
