The Ammo box is Very Well Made and Very Sturdy. The box is Watertight and is Sealed. It is very Functional and Stackable. A Great Value for the Price. Great Size and Weight. No issues with the order.

It’s larger than an 50 cal surplus can, but I prefer the shape and size for my storage space. Unlike other big box store budget ammo cans, this thing is actually pretty sturdy and rigid. Zero flex when stacked, so they won’t warp or compromise the seal. The rubber seal seems to be more than sufficient for an airtight, waterproof seal. I say “seems” because I won’t be doing and long term submersion or vacuum testing. It is ready to lock, if you want to throw one on the can. The foam is a nice addition. I’m definitely going to buy more for storing some of my collectibles.

I was amazed at how rugged and heavy duty this can is! I was expecting lighter gauge steel but it is every bit as tough and well-built as the military surplus cans I have. This one will actually go on the luggage rack of a Royal Enfield Classic 500 motorcycle as a trunk, matching the Army green of the rest of the bike. I think you could shoot this out of a cannon into a rocky mountain face and barely scratch the paint. Really nice and versatile can for horizontal storage applications. The lid gasket is apparently VERY air and watertight. It went BOOM! When I popped open the latch. I live at a mile high elevation, so it was probably sealed up down closer to sea level. Nice work, folks.

Can’t give enough positive feedback on this can. Build quality is solid, waterproof seal is tight. It’s even packed very well with styrofoam protection on corners, bubble wrapped and shipped in a sturdy box. Yes, it is a bit pricey but I’m very happy I took the plunge and made the purchase. I put this item in my Den (gun room) with all my miscellaneous original gun parts that I have upgraded in my firearms. You won’t be disappointed ladies and gentlemen. If you can afford it, get one! I think you will agree…

Seems very strong seems to be water proof

This metal crate is a tank, drop it down the stairs and only the stairs and wall will show damage! Dense steel, nice Olive Drab finish (actually they did an outstanding job with the paint!) The box has a gasket and seems to be air tight, excellent. The latch is well made and very secure, this will not open on accident. Adequate storage for ammunition and some accessories, though I will buy the larger version next time. The lid is not captive, so once you open it the lid sometimes slides off the hinges. I suppose that is a "feature," perhaps you're at the range and don't want a floppy lid in the way of them bullets? Unnecessary, as the lid opens completely out of the way 180* and is too heavy to jiggle about on its own. I am not a fan of this and therefore I'm knocking it down a star.
