I have kidney problems and my doctor has me on a strict diet. Among the many things I have to cut back on are salt and potassium. Processed tomato products (spaghetti sauce, catsup, etc.) are big offenders. I have been reading a ton of labels and this brand has the lowest sodium and potassium of any tomato sauce I could find. So I tried it and guess what? IT TASTES GOOD! Saute some fresh diced garlic and onions, add this sauce and you will never know it is actually good for you. Note: Yo' Mama has several flavors so check the label to find what's right for you. Walyo.

You might assume like I did that these would be regular-size pasta sauce jars but they’re actually quite small. Way overpriced for these little salsa-sized jars. I should have had a better grasp of what 12.5 oz was. Love the sauce though. It’s the best one for people who are watching their sugar intake.

The ingredients list for this pasta sauce is honestly amazing. Its rare you can look at it a list and its 5 items you can pronounce and you know what they are! Tastes great too!

I’ve bought it several times and think it’s a very good product. Very tasty and low sodium, low sugar. I got the marinara which had an excellent taste and texture and I highly recommend it. I’ve used it in various pasta dishes and also in my sausage and peppers sandwiches and it’s great in those. I also found the packing to be very good and have never had any problems with breakage. Try it and you’ll really like it.
