This book was clearly VERY well thought out. It’s simple yet aesthetic. It gives great visuals while catering two different ways that people read patterns. It has the picture of the pattern and then it also has it written out in case you don’t read the pictures. But in case you do want to learn and also offers explanations on how to read and hints. One of my favorite features is that it is completely full of ideas front to back. There’s not a lot of extra pages of a bunch of useless stuff. I feel like I got my moneys worth and then some.

This book will get your creative juices flowing! And by working in strips, you won't feel overwhelmed at getting started. You probably won't even have to buy any yarn to get started since the author shows how to use your stash to create a cohesive color scheme. Whether you need constant projects to keep your hands busy, gift ideas for the holidays, or ideas to decorate your home, you will find this book very useful. Advanced crocheters will like it for the creative inspiration and variety of stitch options, and beginners will appreciate the clear instructions and manageable projects. Everyone will like the gorgeous photos, chart explanations, and easy-to-follow instructions. Highly recommended!Edited to add that I have the Kindle version and read it via the Kindle app on my tablet, in case you're wondering about the practicality of a digital version. I prefer digital to print for crafting because it sits flat on the arm of my couch or table while I'm working.
