I was a bit apprehensive getting this after several of the reviews mentioned breakage. I have used it several months now and have not had any issues. Feels good in your hand and fits Sensor blades as well as several others. I do not use any other blades and do not like the 3 plus blades because then tend to clog quickly and are more difficult to clean. Maybe that is why others broke theirs trying to bang the blade against the sink. I just tap and run under water and the blade clears. I expect this handle to last as long or longer than my original Sensor handle - 20 years.

I love this razor. It is heavier than expected, but I like the weight of it. Shaves so well.

Nice weight it has, works perfectly with Gillette razor blades.

I have been using a Gillette Sensor Excel or the off brand disposable versions and just putting the razor unit in my old metal Sensor handle. The handle was wearing out, springs almost gone. I knew it was coming to an end. I ordered this as a last resort before moving on to some other type of razor. I love this razor. I love the weight. I don't shave in the shower so I don't deal with any of the slippery issues that I have heard of. I think the weight gives me a little closer shave even though the blades are the same blades. I wish I had ordered this handle years ago.

It is very poorly designed, and it is hard to keep a grip on the handle with your hands wet. I actually cut my face when the handle slipped out of my hand. The only thing good is the weight on the handle, but they need to make it with a better grip so it won't slip out of your hands. It's very dangerous to use on your face with your wet hands.

Comfortable in the hand, and takes the Sensor Excel blades that I like.

this works fine, but it's heavy and sort of combersome.

Perfect for daily use and a great gift for a husband.
