After doing some research and exploring 4-wheel cart options, it became clear that the variabe lreports of ease-of-use for all the carts in loose sand likely related to load weight. In addition, the more wheels, the more bogged down it's going to get. Most expensive fishing carts seemed to be 2-wheel. So I went with this 2-wheel cart with more limited weight capacity and large wide wheels most likely to negotiate dry loose sand more effectively. It is intended to be pulled but also offers the option to push with 4 wheels in hard surface environments, a plus since I needed to replace a shopping cart and this could do double duty. I had it out once so far and it handled the soft sand reasonably well (and wet sand easily, as expected). On the stairs I gave it a lot of help due to concerns re durability (one person described the hinges breaking while going down stairs) . Which brings me to the cons: The wheels look cheap, and I'm concerned about how they'll hold up over time, especially the front wheels. Some commenters have had issues. They're also a bit noisy, as at least one other person has complained. And I feel it's a bit overpriced. Still, the umbrella holder can double as a rod holder and there are few alternatives with this design, and it takes up little space when folded. I also like the chair holder. Hopefully, if there are issues down the line the company will stand behind the product. We'll see....

Like the chair and it look like picture, seems sturdy. The instructions refer to 2 washers that are needed for the wheel rod. I didn’t receive them and called customer service to have them mail additional ones to me. After a few days I received a reply that the washers aren’t needed. If that is the case, why are they mentioned in the instructions? Not a fan of customer service.

That cart came with defect. The front wheels are very hard to turn. I couldn't return because is a lot of work, but I'M NOT please with this beach cart.

we used this for a week on the beach at Wells ,ME .handled well, carried all of our stuff for two people, we used two people to maneuver stairs, drove well on sand , easy to store in car and in our garage.very pleased with purchase.

Folds up well. Seems decently made. We used it every day for a week, carting chairs, small coolers, towels, beach bags etc, to and from the beach from a condo a short distance away. With weight in it, the back wheels still dig into soft sand, though much less so than normal wheels. They could stand to be a bit larger and wider than even they are …. But overall, happy with the purchase.
