Good advice
Liked the analysis. Not a cook book but the sort of advice needed for young athletes. Any mum could cope with the meals

If you're serious about your rugby then this is well worth a read!
I have a 14yr old son who's very much into his rugby, he's now at the point where he wants to 'bulk up' and improve his strength. Clearly I didn't want him to go about this the wrong way so I bought this book upon a recommendation. It's very well put together and simple to understand, ok, some of the more in depth parts about what different vitamins etc do can require more concentration to get through but, on the whole, it tells you all you need to know about what to eat, why to eat it, and even when. It's basically a well put together manual to help anyone who is serious about their rugby to get to where they want to go.Even, if like me - an unfit vet' / 3rd XV, who's just rediscovered the playing side of the game after too many years out or, you just want to get fit and eat better, then this book will be a really valuable read and reference.
