I’ve always had an issue with ulcers but recently had a bad outbreak and could barely eat. This didn’t take away all the pain but it made it tolerable. The flavor is an interesting choice. It tastes like anise/black licorice. I would have preferred something minty but I can deal with the taste because it works.

Not to be dramatic but this product is a mouth saver. I purchased this for same day delivery because I was in so much pain. I used it twice (once was over night) and never had to apply it again. Don't get me wrong, the canker sore didn't go away after 2 applications but the pain did and I could eat normal again. My canker sore was towards the top of my gums near my molars if that's helpful information.I imagine this product would be even better on a canker sore that's just beginning to form so I'm happy to have it for the future. Highly recommend.Update: May 2025. Still recommend this product. It helps take the sting away and helps speed up the healing process. I also have the rinse which I also recommend.

Canker-X provided some temporary relief for my mouth sore — it helped take the edge off the pain for about an hour, which is about what I expected.There’s no noticeable taste, which I appreciated, and the gel stayed in place fairly well. It didn’t fully stick the entire time, but that’s pretty much the case with most similar products.Overall, a decent option for quick, short-term relief. I’d use it again when needed.
