Sturdy
A well built quality tripod. It's expensive but it provides peace of mind in supporting my 4K projector. Adjusting is easy. The mount incorporates two sizes to fit whatever your device has just push and turn.I am very happy with it.

A decent mini tripod
Mini tripods are one of those pieces of photographic equipment that are useful but not so useful that people spend enough to get decent versions. This is a decent version. It is very well built. There is no slack anywhere in this. That is at the expense of a fixed number of positions controlled off a little lock button on the side but I would rather that than something that will slip. I tested this with a fairly standard DSLR and zoom lens combination and even when set right over to 90° it remained rock solid. The camera mount itself is a standard threaded arrangement with two diameter of connection in the single thread with a larger outer thread sprung so that the single screw can accommodate both 1/4 and 3/8 threads. The things I don't like are minor. There is supposedly a quick release for the camera with a locking collar that releases the top of the tripod. I found that so awkward that unscrewing the whole camera quickly became my favoured option. The accessories bag is cheap and nasty. Both of those are so minor that I would ignore them; they do not detract from how well the tripod does its job.Recommended if you are looking for a decent small tripod.

Very Good Quality Monopod Base/Table Top Tripod
I often travel to remote locations with my cameras to shoot both video and still images and I like to keep the amount of kit I need to transport to a minimum. The feature I find most useful with this IFOOTAGE Cobra 3 Monopod Base is that it can also be used as a table-top tripod. And with the addition of a tripod head which needs to be purchased separately it becomes a very versatile and sturdy fully functional small tripod which I have been using with my DSLR camera and lenses up to 300mm in length. The overall construction of the Cobra 3 is in my opinion very sturdy as most of the parts are metal. The legs lock securely in each position and the foot operated lever releases the integral pivot mechanism which allows a monopod when attached to the base to tilt and pan as required. I also like that when a tripod head is used with this base, it can be quickly released by pushing down the red collar which allows it to detach from the base. It is supplied with a useful storage bag and the quick release mount has a thoughtfully designed double thread, which can be used as a 1/4" or 3/8" due to its spring loaded mechanism. This allows it to be used with a camera/tripod head or monopod.Folded down it takes up only a small amount of space in my kit bag though it is quite heavy due its sturdy construction. Overall I am very impressed with the Cobra 3 monopod base, it is very versatile and feels well made from good quality materials. Having taken it out with me several times now to use for photography or video capture I am very impressed with it and happy to provide this five star review and recommend.

The 90° tilting and 360° swiveling capabilities are ideal for capturing creative angles. Its sturdy build supports a variety of devices, making it a great tool for photographers and videographers alike. The quick-release feature is a time-saver, allowing for swift transitions between shots. It's a compact powerhouse, perfect for on-the-go shooting.

Tough, sturdy and perfect for on location videography/photography
The build quality of the iFootage Cobra 3 small table top tripod/tripod base is superb and far better than expected. I currently have, and have had in the past, several different similar tripod bases to use on location with my 360 cameras and action cameras and this model from iFootage is the best by far. This iFootage table top tripod is made entirely of metal (other than the rubber non-slip pads on the feet), tough, durable and exceptionally well made. I foresee the Cobra 3 lasting a long time. The adjustable legs have three settings allow a working height of 15cm to 25cm, and all securely lock in place at all three settings, the ball head locks firmly in place and will not budge from the desired location and the unit is total rigid. The iFootage table top tripod has a payload of 8kg, so it is more than capable of supporting large camera rigs. My largest camera/lens combo weighs a little over 2.3kg and the ball head securely holds this at any angle, and with the lens at its fullest extension. The ball head is more than capable of dealing with any of my cameras. The iFootage table top tripod has a standard quarter inch screw making it compatible with all monopods, which is another reason I ordered it. I have a range of monopods, all different brands, and all of them work perfectly. The iFootage tripod base and monopod combination is perfect for 360 cameras (where conventional tripods create too many post processing issues), small compact cameras and action cameras for on location shooting. At around 0.6kg the iFootage table tripod is quite hefty, especially for travelling and taking around for on location shoots but given the build quality, the sturdiness and the 8kg payload I guess this is to be expected and it would be naïve to think a table top tripod of this build and with these features would be lightweight. The iFootage table top tripod doesn’t come cheap but there are times when it is worth digging a little deeper and spending a little more for a quality product, which the iFootage table top tripod definitely is.Overall the iFootage table top tripod is an excellent product and comes highly recommended.Disclaimer: I am privileged enough to be part of the Amazon Vine program and as such I have the opportunity request products that I would find useful/potentially buy to road test in exchange for an honest review. I am not paid for this and all of my reviews are unbiased and based on my own experience.

Know what you are getting.
This is a very solidly built product. The first thing I noticed is the weight of it. It is not your typical tabletop tripod. In truth (see company store on Amazon) this product was not likely ever designed as a tabletop unit but succeeds exceptionally well when used correctly. What I mean by all this is that the tripod was actually designed as a tripod base for a monopod and as such they are sold together as a single product. As for stability I would not endorse using it in the tallest/narrowest leg position. The footprint becomes just too small if you are using anything larger than a phone or gopro. This tripod will easily handle a heavy load without tipping if set low to the ground. The middle setting that I suspect will be the one I use most seems to hold a FF body and lens quite easily as long as the lens isn't physically super long. I wouldn't mount my body with the 70-200 but I would trust it when mounted with the lens collar to adjust the centre of gravity. The tripod more or less has a built in ball head with a quick release plate of their own design. The only drawback to mounting the camera directly is that there is no isolated panning adjustment on the ball head which means panning and maintaining horizontal position can be a challenge. The easy solution is to mount the head of your choice on the tripod and use the built in ball head a leveling base. This also allows the use of the legs at their widest (most stable) without sacrificing hight.I have also tried attaching the monopod that I currently have to see if they work together and they do. I see myself using the monopod with this which turns out to be an added bonus I didn't plan on. I would not suggest mounting anything heavy on the monopod configuration and walking away from it as some people do but that is my blanket feeling towards all monopod tripod base combinations from any manufacturer. As long as you hold on then this set up is awesome. As an ultra compact tripod it is a little on the heavy side but being designed as a monopod base first explains why. Given it's size compared to others it is on the expensive side and prices like the 'mini' tripods with short leg extensions that are significantly taller when extended. The advantages here are packed physical size is very small compared to the minis, and monopod capability. The built in ball head is actually great when trying to get as low to the ground as possible where other tabletops need a head bolted to the top adding height. So far I would have to say a very well built product that does exactly what it was designed to do. Just remember monopod duty was it's first design function.

A fantastic mini tripod with incredible value
I owned a Manfrotto PIXI Mini tripod for about 3 years. It was great for my iPhones and small mirorless cameras without a heavy lens cage or other Accesories. However in time my setup got upgraded, I started to use a regular tripod for my Videos but I was missing a good mini tripod. After doing some extensive research I landed on this ifootage Cobra 2 and boy I was right to get it.The quality of the materials used to build this sturdy tripod is stellar. Just by holding it you instantly get the impression that it will securiely hold a heavy payload. The quick release mechanism is a plus especially if you consider also getting the K5 fluid head which by the way has a fantastic value. I also got it, waiting to deliver tomorrow. The only thing that I’m missing at this point is the monopod ( you can actually buy the monopod with the cobra 2. It comes that way but if you got the cobra 2 separately like I did you can by only the monopod extension)Bottom line, I love the quality, the sturdiness and the compatibility getting from ifootage a truly modular experience.I’m using it to hold a Panasonic GH6 + small rig Cage, 5inch monitor w battery and a Sigma 18-35 lens. No issues.

Things a Beast but Expensive
This mini tripod is an absolute beast. It's heavier than any I've tried before which helps keep it in place.Holds my microphone, pop filter, shock mount and noise isolation shield with no problem. The tripod combined with a shock mount does an excellent job isolating the microphone from vibrations extremely well. Using it as a microphone stand it's as good as (or very close to as good) as my microphone arm is.I don't have a dslr but I'd bet it'd hold a prerty big camera and lens combo though if it's a big you may neef only use the lower 2 of 3 height adjustments. My only worry is using it for travel which is why I bought it. The weight which makes it so sturdy is a lot to put in your luggage given the measly weight allowances most airlines have. You may find you need to leave something else behind but for most it's probably a good trade off.I hope you found this review helpful.

This iFootage tripod goes perfect with the Anker 4k Projector!
Was looking for a stand for the Anker 4K Laser Projector. I looked at several and did not think any were robust or stable enough to hold up this projector that is taller than most with a high center of gravity. Once I found the iFootage tripod I was pretty sure from other reviews that this would be perfect. I was right. It's great for my application. The tripod is heavy and feels sturdy and robust. The legs can go almost flat which adds to the stability. The swivel and tilt mechanism is solid and holds a given position without having to really torque it down. Once you have the Anker projector mounted which is really easy then you simply put one hand on the projector handle and the other hand on the tightening knob. Aim the projector accordingly and then tighten the knob. Holds its position without any "drift" noted.Pros: Built to last. Sturdy. Holds its position. Easy to aim/lock down the projector.Cons: In terms of my application, it would still be possible to knock this tall projector over, but it would take a direct hit to do so. This is not a limitation of the tripod, just how I am using it.Note: You are likely going to need a table to get your projector high enough off the ground. Probably not useful as a floor mount unless your projector has a fairly extreme keystone function.
