I just love being able to quickly change orientations. There are annoyances, like the screw is hard to tighten and sometimes the lens moves if I forget. But remembering to tighten is still way way way less annoying than turning the camera on an L bracket. I am glad to have this. It is simple to reach the lens release button and the unit doesn't seem to be damaging the camera body. I leave it on 100% of the time now.

I have been using this item for over a month now and have no complaints about its build quality. It works perfectly and performs its function excellently. I purchased it primarily for shooting video in portrait orientation from a stabilizer. I use a Sony a7iii camera, a Dji RS3 stabilizer, and Sony GM 12-35/Zeiss 1.4-50 lenses for this purpose. With both lenses, the Pitch (Tilt) axis is constantly overloaded. I cannot achieve proper balance, and the camera constantly falls. However, I am still able to shoot for some time before the stabilizer's protection kicks in and it goes into sleep mode. Perhaps the DJI RS3 Pro version with stronger motors will handle this better. I have no disappointments about the purchase and would like to emphasize again that the product's quality is excellent.

If you have smaller lenses then this product is great to use. Quickly changing between portrait and landscape modes even while using a monopod without a ball head is a great option to have. The only issue is that this is not versatile enough and doesn't fit all my lenses and primary lens which I a Canon f4l 24-105. So read the configuration before you buy. The overall build quality and ease of installation is great. Comes with extra pads in case you want a perfect fit with your lens and the base.

It has a very premium quality look and feel and it comes with all the necessary hardware for installation. Rotating the the camera from landscape to protrait has a very satisfying feel to it. It does a premium sounding click at every stop as well 👌

This Silence Corner Atoll X - Black Rotating Collar works very well with my Nikon D750 for use on my Benro Polaris Astro mount. Rotates easily. Very well built and sturdy. High quality craftsmanship product.

The original one I ordered was the wrong size. I ordered the size C, the box was even labeled "Model C", but my lenses didn't fit. After reaching out to Silence Corner, they confirmed that it was indeed the wrong size. I was able to get it exchanged and hopefully it would be the right size. (It was) The replacement arrived, and it fit! I put it on per the instructions, my lenses fit and it rotated as it should. But here's where my disappointment set in. With the collar mounted properly, my hand BARELY fits between it and the grip of my camera. For reference, I use a Nikon Z6ii. When I have the collar set close to the body, my hand doesn't fit at all and I can't reach any of the Fn buttons. When I move the collar forward, my hand JUST squeezes past the collar, but it hurts. Maybe I just have big hands... I'm still giving it 2 stars since the product itself worked and functioned as it should. I was very much looking forward to using this product, but if I can't even hold my camera, what's the point?

Works well in that it rotates the camera body and maintains composition. Purchased Model D to work with my Nikon D750 and was aware of the issues noted in the documentation. It worked with all my lenses - even those that stated it might not. However, had to position the ATOLL very carefully and it was still awkward to activate the lens release button. The device does interfere with the some of the lens switches but since I rarely touch them, it was no big deal. What was a big deal is that reviewers stated it worked with the Peak Design capture clip. Other models might, but the Model D does not - the extended base prevents use.

Passt hervorragend zur Canon EOS R6. Alle Knöpfe sind bedienbar, keine Einschränkungen! Das Objektiv lässt sich wie gewohnt wechseln. Das Klappdisplay meiner Kamera kann man nun normal bewegen, das ging beim L-Winkel nicht. Sehr hochwertige Verarbeitung, trotzdem sehr leicht. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Avevo bisogno di qualcosa compatibile anche con il mio Tamron 70-180 g2, il quale per via della usb C diventa subito più grosso sul collo. L'Atoll riesce ad ospitare anche queste lenti a condizione di regolare bene/far aderire il collare sull innesto. Lo so, costa molto di più rispetto a concorrenti come Neweer, ma i materiali sono superiori e soprattutto è compatibile praticamente con tutto. Gli "hard clicks" ogni 90 gradi sono un bel bonus/feeling. Infine, il collare non danneggiato la fotocamera perché ci sono micro spessori in gomma sia sulla base che dietro l anello.

Lo he tenido que devolver porque nada más sacarlo de la caja me he dado cuenta de que es exageradamente grande para mi cámara Sony a7 cii. Voy a probar con el modelo S. Aun así se le ve de buena calidad.
