These two are very sturdy (trust me, I can bend kitchen utensils, so I look for sturdy, useful and cleanability)I use these two primarily in blanching (prior to flash freeze) and while doing my cooking in terms of canning efforts as well. They drain fast, allow me to get a good bit of the blanched veggies out at one time without having my ice bath inundated with boiling water, and that's the benefit here.I've washed multiple times already, and they are good to go.All in all, reasonable price for sturdy utensils I'll use for seasonal preservation.

I had a cheap plastic strainer spoon and it was awful. I found these and WOW! They are great. I love that there are 2 sizes. They are so well made and sturdy. They are useful for so many things such as straining veggies out of boiling water, hard boiled eggs, pasta, chicken bones out of your homemade broth...I could go on. These strainer spoons are beautiful, well made, and worth the price. I highly recommend.

These spoons are perfect for straining. Worked better than regular strainer to scoop up stuff and drained faster.

These wash well by hand or in the dishwasher. These are especially useful in handling pasta and steamed vegetables. I like the stainless steel and the large capacity of these big servers. The largest spoon is 7inches long, excluding the handle and 6 inches wide. It will scoop up a large amount of pasta from the cook pot.
