Jigthings - Jigboard 500 - Jigsaw Puzzle Board for Most Puzzles up to 500 Pieces

This is just what I was looking for to accommodate 500 piece jigsaws. The board is light but sturdy and comfortable when used on knee. It has a cover which can be placed upon the incomplete/complete puzzle to keep the pieces in place, dust free and safe from pets. I have even used the felted side of the cover to complete another puzzle on top of a puzzle already assembled on the board. Both the Gibson and Ravensburger jigsaws have fit with no problems.

This Jigboard is a perfect size for a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle. It's easy to handle as it is light, sturdy and handy to store when not in use.

We're very pleased with this product - and although it does seem pricey it does provide exactly what we were looking for when no other company seems to have anything similar. Ours is the 500 piece size and has worked well for the two puzzles we've done so far. The felt covering is good, underneath as well, and the light grey colour has proved a nice background to work on. Haven't needed to use the covering sheet as yet, but think to be really useful something like bulldog clips might be handy to hold it in place. All in all would recommend.

I chose the 500 piece board to suit the size I like to complete. The felt base keeps the pieces in place so you can tilt the board towards you without slippage. The cover keeps everything secure until you next use it. One of my favourite buys as it allows me to sit in the armchair, relax and enjoy puzzling without getting backache.

It's perfect. The big bonus is the lip around the edge to stop wandering pieces falling off the board.

Very pleased with the Jigboard for 500 piece jigsaws. I has a small raised edging which prevents pieces from slipping off, and my husband (who has Alzheimer's) finds it very comfortable to use. Excellent buy.

I was getting tired of using the table top for my jigsaw puzzles and thought a small board would make it easier, The Jigboard 500 does do the trick although I find it rather difficult to move the pieces across the surface. Practice will make perfect I suppose and it is what I wanted.

We went away for a beach week with a family who had a 2-year old, so we wanted a way to safely store our jigsaw puzzles while we were putting them together. The jigboard was perfect!! We could lay it out on the big table after the little one went to bed, work on the puzzle for a couple of hours, then store it out of reach until the next night. Not only that, I discovered this product only a week before we left, and I emailed the vendor to let him know - and he's in England! I explained our situation, and he assured me I'd have the jigboard in time, and it arrived in just a few days. Great product, great service!

I'm very happy with this puzzle board. The edges keep me from accidentally knocking puzzle pieces onto the floor (which would drive me nuts) and the nice cover keeps the puzzle safe from harm and allows me to use the surface for something else until I'm ready to work on the puzzle again. This means I can take days to finish a puzzle and be confident that it won't be damaged or pieces lost.

It’s a nice sturdy board but I have found that most of my puzzles do not fit. I should have paid more attention to the dimensions. The board is 20 inches across and most puzzles are 24 inches. So if you get this board pay attention to the size.

This item description is misleading and it does not fit 500 or 300 piece puzzles.

I bought this for my grandson to do his puzzles. The thing I really like about it is that unlike putting the pieces directly on a table, with the board you can turn it around and work on the top and not have to try to reach over the whole puzzle. It also makes it easy to move if you are doing it on a surface that has to be used for other purposes.
