Functions perfectly at a discount
This part functions perfectly and looks exactly like the Dyson part which, amazingly, was not included with my $750 Dyson stick vacuum. It came with 12 attachments, some of them redundant, but not the one you MUST have. And believe me, you have to have this part to be able get under furniture. I actually just leave it in that configuration because you can reach further out in front of you. I admit I got some satisfaction buying the knockoff part instead of the Dyson part because I resent that it is incorporated into their business model to exclude must-have parts so they can sell them to you separately. That's so chickensh.....! So I didn't. I paid $18 instead of $65 and got to gripe about Dyson :) This stick vacuum is actually a really nice machine but for that kind of money it should come with a light on the front (it doesn't), every single attachment they make....and a puppy!

Note: Does NOT fit a V12 detect slim model
While many tools will fit several V models, this one will not. The power socket is smaller on the V12, and although this will physically fit into the power unit, it will not go all the way on because the two power prongs do not align properly. This was my fault for jumping to conclusions since other attachments do interchange. I'm just writing this review to save someone else the disappointment in advance. beyond this small essential detail, the attachment seemed well built and able to do the job.

Must have adapter but it's quality is questionable
A picture in the description shows three possible positions: in 0, 45 and 90 degrees.Actually it has only one fixed position at 0 degrees.Beside it - fitted perfectly to my v15
