Way better than a laptop screen, and affordable!
BenQ has impressed me since purchasing a top-of-the-line 32-incher for my professional photography, so when my sweetheart needed more visual real estate for non-photographic stuff, I purchased this super-affordable 24-inch 1080p. It is amazingly effective and well-designed. Excellent eye-care software, easy to set up and fine-tune. It's not 4K, but the 1080p is very useable for streaming, surfing, and regular work. Color fidelity is excellent.

Beautiful monitor!!!
Did not expect to be blown away by this monitor. The design of it is really intuitive — putting it together couldn’t be easier and it’s super sturdy despite the fact that you can rotate it and easily heighten/lower it. Was worried about the sound quality, but it’s not bad at all in my opinion for work purposes. For gaming, we might invest in nicer speakers eventually. I can already tell it is easier on the eyes than our previous monitor. ****The backlights did NOT come with it, we already had those and mounted them to get the glow effect!***

Buen monitor pero caro. Horrible sonido

Best monitor I've had in 40 years
Back in 1982 I got my first computer (and monitor), and IMB Displaywriter dedicated word processor. I've used a lot of monitors since then, and this one is the best ever. Period.I wanted an IPS monitor that I could adjust lower - almost touching the desktop - so I wouldn't have to look upward to see the screen. The stand on this monitor goes low. All the specs are great. I hadn't even though abut their eye care technology. My old LG monitor had some kind of blue-light reading mode that wasn't any good at all, at least not for me.This BenQ monitor has 4 different view modes, so I tried them out. The Reading mode lowers the brightness the most so I decided to use it.Wow! What a difference. With the other monitor, I was having to stop and rest my 80 year old eyes (only one eye still works) after about 15 minutes. Now I can go an hour - yes... 60 minutes - before I have to stop and rest. This stuff really works! When I need to do some image editing, or work on a video, I switch to the Multimedia mode - the brightest and most accurate colors - and when I am done, back to the Reading mode again. What's really impressive is that this isn't even their top of the line monitor! I bought it for the stand, so I could lower the monitor.Shh... don't tell them, but... after using this monitor daily for more than 3 months, I'd pay twice as much for it.If you have eye fatigue, like I do, this monitor might be what you need.

Ended up returning as text looks pixelated
As a programmer I wanted to try these but I was disappointed in how the text looks. These are a great value in terms of low cost / performance but it just wasn’t right for me. I’m using a MBP and the contrast boost for coding mode looked cool but I just couldn’t get past text looking pixelated. These monitors have standard thickness. It’s a nice clean white color that looks great! I’d say if you are a programmer and don’t mind the pixelated text then these are a good buy. They are versatile in that you can rotate them 90 degrees but even with a 27” monitor that was too vertically tall for me to feel useful. I didn’t have them for long enough to talk about long term performance but I’ve read these should last.I also ordered the 32” to use as a horizontal monitor but it arrived DOA with the LCD cracked so didn’t get to test it out but I imagine it’s equivalent to the 27 just bigger.

Crisp rotating monitor with very good resolution.
This is a great smaller monitor. It has a crisp clear image and the ability to rotate from landscape to portrait is a big plus.
