This shave bar is exactly what I was looking for. It lathers up well, but isn’t foamy like regular body wash. It has a nice slip and provides good moisture. I still need lotion afterwards, but my skin is usually very dry. I put some in with water, lather, shave and then can lather again without adding more product for an extra close double shave. It did not irritate my skin at all and left me so smooth and soft. It rinses off easily. It also has a very light shea butter scent that is completely neutral and doesn’t linger. I leave it out of the shower to dry in between uses. This is my new favorite thing to use for a close shave!

LOVE IT! Nice milder nutty shea butter scent, and easy to apply while shaving! Once wet, bar develops a super soft emollient feel that doesn’t dry my skin out like other gels and creams do.

I've been using this product for over 2 years and I love it. So many reviews think this is soap and it should lather up. Soap is for WASHING; this is for SHAVING. You don't want soap for shaving, you want a lubricant. This shave bar creates a wonderful moisturizing layer to aid in effective shaving and never dries out my skin. I think it actually helps get more shaves out of my razor blades as well; I don't have to change blades nearly as often as I used to with shaving gel. One bar lasts a long time if you keep it dry (in other words, don't place it where the shower will spray on it or your kids will splash it when they're taking a bath). One bar lasts me almost a year of regular shaving (legs and armpits). I'm still using the one I bought last year on Prime Day and will be getting another one this week. That's a whole year of shaving without buying bottles of gel/foam and my skin loves it.

This is my new favorite shave cream.Pros:-Very moisturizing and great for reducing friction. Makes for a very smooth shave.-Smells amazing-Lasts a long time (I shave 2-3 times per week and one bar lasts me 2 months)-Develops a nice frothy lather when rubbed on damp skin-Solid bar means it’s easy to travel with since it doesn’t count toward the limit on liquids, which is a relief compared to traditional bottles of shave cream-Natural ingredients and no plastic packagingCons:-It’s too thick for my traditional disposable razors. It would gunk up the blades and I’d have to constantly rinse it to get the product out or I’d end up with stubble remaining on my legs because the razor wasn’t getting close enough to my skin. I ended up switching to a safety razor and I like it way better, so problem solved.-You’ll need some kind of container to store this in between uses, like a soap box.-Slips out of your hands easily when applying
