Q: I wear behind the ear hearing aids. are these comfortable for btehearing aids?

My husband has behind the ear hearing aids and he wears these with no trouble.

Q: What batteries are required? How long do the last? Are they hard to change?

4 AAA batteries - the outside slide panel makes them easy to change. My wife has 3M Peltor tactical 6S electronic ears and they are a nightmare to pry apart to the change batteries and then another hassle to snap the pieces back together. I find these more comfortable to wear when I attend the long 4 day defensive handgun classes. I did have an amplifier go out on one side after 6 mo of use, but they are cheap enough to buy another set. I bring my less comfortable Howard Leight Sports set for backup when I attend classes.

Q: Do they get in the way of shooting a rifle with the muff hitting the stock?

I have several rifles and have not had any problems with the muffs hitting the stock. They are great

Q: Will these adjust to fit a pre-school child?

I can't say for sure because I don't have a young child to try them on but there is a lot of adjustment to them if that helps. I really like these hearing protection ear muffs!
