Does the gun come with staples.

Hi Jill, I don't think there were any staples with it. You can choose which type you need . . The ridgid or the flexible. The flexible are the type that you punch into the frame and they bend to hold the backing board in place. You can then change the picture. The ridgid I think are more of a permanent thing. It is a very good product and does the job well.Hope this helps.

What type of clips do you use with this gun.

T4F Flexible Tabs or T4R Rigid Tabs. (Depends on density of wood). Not sure what the term "clips" means in this context.

Can the gun be used to nail the corners as well?

Hi, no this tool is used to keep everything inside the frame. It inserts flat tabs to keep the items all in the frame. You would need a different item to join the corners of the frame, we have the PFK03 or PFK04 Tools that would do that job for you.
