I had been using the regular magnets with cases that come with a metal plate. My son started using these with Magsafe cases, and when he sworn by them. So I ordered a Magsafe case for my Pixel 7, and tried it. He was right! This Coolpow magnet is so strong, it practically takes the phone off your hand when you get it near. I bought this back in January when I got a new phone and at that time I bought a MagSafe case as well. Right up until yesterday. I never had an issue with it not sticking. It was on there pretty hard-core. Then yesterday after work, I get in my car and I find that, the never fall off adhesive, fell off. Now somewhat to its defense, it’s been close to 90 the past couple of days, but I keep a sunshade in my car window so the sun is not directly on it but just fell off from the heat. It does not come with extra adhesive. Guess I will have to figure something out. I threw out the event clip because I never use those. It’s not good to blow the hot or cold directly on your phone and I’m not shutting the vent off just to use the clip on there.

Well, for $10, it’s too expensive to be a good deal. Way too clunky and plasticky. It’ll most likely melt in 120 degree temp inside a car. Not interested and I’m sending it back. Plus the fact that it’s actually held on by a piece of clear plastic, just seems silly for a magnet mount.

Great magnet and hold my phone securely in place even when I rotate it. I bough another one for my other car too once I realized how nice it was. I do have a MagSafe case on my phone so worked perfectly.
