Works great esp. for the money!
We bought a small used hot tub and after a couple of months wanted to give it a “purge” cleaning. Had seen this on several sites and seemed to be well recommended so decided to try it. Our tub is only 200 gallons so it only took about 3 tablespoons of this in the tub. I ran it for a couple of hours then let it set for about a day with the cover on. When I opened it up there was a lot of green and brown foam and slime on top of the water. I unplugged tub and drained the old water out. I don’t have a drain but it easily siphoned out with a hose laid in the bottom of the tub. I then took the hose with a spray nozzle and blew out all the lines with clean water by pressing the nozzle against each jet and backwashing each back into the tub until each ran clear. More gunk came out and I siphoned it out. I also blew out the lines with a small shop vac hooked up to blow. Some of the gunk had dried on the tub interior and I had to lightly scrub to get that off. Overall, it was easy to clean and I’m very satisfied with the result. I plan to do this every 3 months or so. I highly recommend this product - for both cleaning a used tub or keeping a new tub clean. And it’s CHEAP to use - we should get about 5 cleanings out of each bottle.

Unbelievable, or maybe amazing.
We have frequently used our spa outside for 23 years, and I keep the water chemistry in line, and the appearance always great. In March, 2012 we both got into full body itching. Horrible. At first thought bedbugs. We spent $700 decontaminating two houses, but we didn't have bed bugs - sigh. We didn't think it could be the spa since we've never had problems. Dermatologists couldn't determine anything other than they don't know - call it Dermatitis. I finally ruled everything out and decided it has to be the spa. I bought a bottle of this product and couldn't believe the greasy gunk that soon "belched" out of the jets! Yuk! I followed directions, but kept the jets on for a longer time. Then drained, filled, etc...and we still had the itchies after every use.Longer story, and problems, but here is what I have found using this product. If you follow directions and get the greasy gunk ring around the spa after the prescribed time - do not stop there. Clean off the ring (I use shop paper towels, wet, and dipped into a bowl of baking soda to attack the grease - works great), and then add 2-3 oz more SeaKlear and run all the jets again...and again. I have been doing repeat applications over two days now, and I still get some gunk. I'll keep doing this until little if anything comes up. Then I plan to super-saturate the water with di-chlorine and let it set for 2 or 3 days, then empty the spa, clean everything down, and then refill.I highly recommend this product, as I know of nothing else that can do what this can. I don't detect any smells, and it is easy as handling water... light blue water. I just bought two more bottles to use often, and I hope at last our skin conditions go away! I'm confident now.

Amazing Product
We purchased a used hot tub. When we first got the hot tub we could keep the chemicals balanced. Although, the pumps always seemed to run louder than I would have expected. Then after a couple of weeks, we noticed that whenever we turned on the jets, the water would get extremely cloudy and we could not keep the water balanced. Decided to try this product, and wow did it work. Within minutes of pouring this in the hot tub, we had a nasty looking green film sticking to the side of the hot tub and crazy amount of foam. After letting the pumps run for 30 minutes, we drained the hot tub and wiped the inside down. After re-filling the hot tub, we turned on the pumps. The pumps run much quieter now, the waters stays clear and the water stays in balance. We will continue to use this product every time we drain the hot tub, to keep the pumps and hoses clean. Would highly recommend this product.

Effective in cleaning out the PVC pipes
Although way over priced,After following the instructions my review is.- flushed out the PVC lines and the amount of black gummy foam it dispensed into the spa was both shocking to see and unwelcoming as it DOES WHAT IT CLAIMS.!My spa is in my VRBO Family Vacation Rental home and renters are not sanitary and this is a great way to clean it.My suggestion would also be that spa owners once done then fill and cycle for 15 mins on high then drain again, clean the inner surface again thoroughly, use NEW filters.Great product.

It worked very well!
Just a heads up when using this product or in a product like it. If you have head rest or anything else like filters etc that can be removed then do so. Be prepared with old towels, rags to wipe away all the scum and debris that’s going to accumulate around the waterline after you do the treatment following the directions. Obviously you’re going to dump all the water when you’re done rinse the spa thoroughly wiping it down, then rinse it again letting it drain completely before refilling. I brought it to work extremely well and now the spot is very clean. Definitely some work involved but that’s just part of owning a spa, deal with it! The results of the product worked as described,.

It works very well!
First time user and I'm sold on using this every time I need to change out the water in my Master Spa LSX. I could not believe the brown nasty crud gunk foaming after just turning the jets on for a couple minutes. My suggestions are while the tub is circulating and you see the brown foamy crud--take a bucket and bail that foamy crud out because when you drain the spa it will leave a very hard tar like ring around the spa water line which I had to SCRUB very hard to get the ick off! After draining the spa and taking a wet vac to get all the remaining water out the lines I throughly wiped the interior down dried it and refilled. The water was so clean and fresh like never before(even after a routine new fill) Amazing stuff, I'm glad I used it.
