I already have the fountain pen (see my happy review) and pencil, so I thought I would get the matching rollerball.You can spend far less on a rollerball (and, of course, very much more), but these Cross products look elegant - at least to me, which is what matters! - and are clearly really well made at a sensible price. What more could one want?Strongly recommended.

It is redundant to say it is the greatest pen I ever used, and the price was a bargain.HOWEVER, Amazon ruined the gift box, which was shipped in an envelope and arrived all smashed. Furthermore, the pen is not the beautiful Ferrari-red shown in the picture, but a metallic copper that did not suit me as much.

Cross have looked after me very well for years and their products have always been excellent. This Rollerball is an addition to a similar Rollerball, that I bought from Cross last year, as I needed two different ink colours. As always, the ink flows instantaneously and evenly. The gold plating is much more attractive than the rhodium, which looks like chrome, and, if required, a ballpoint refill fits the same casing. The Cross after sales service and lifetime guarantee is very useful, especially with their fountain pens.

A £100 pen is made in China. Very disappointed.
