Up until now we have used the standard type cameras for our meetings with the camera sitting on top of the monitor. The result has never been very good and the sound quality poor. This Toucan unit allows everyone around the table to be seen and clearly heard - a vast improvement

Poor picture quality especially in lower light. Not smooth, even after upgrading computer to high specs GPU this webcam is lagging...

Very good quality video conference system from Toucan made from very good materials.The video conference system is very well built it feels solid & durable, it has a sleek and elegant look so would not look out of place using this in an office or at home.Very quick and easy to setup it is just a case of connecting the power cable and the USB-C to USB-A cable and that is it, its is plug and play so no drivers are needed. I have been using this on a iMac for just over three months now and so far I have had no issues. I have been using it with Skype, Teams, Streamlabs Desktop (OBS), OBS, WhatsApp and also tested on a windows 10 laptop and also had no issues.Sound and microphone quality is very good, when I have asked I have been told they can hear me crystal clear and no breaks/interruptions in the sound..Image/camera quality is good at 1080p so far I have experienced no delays in the image which is exactly what you want. The four cameras in this position is a great feature if you are all sat at a table you can just place this is the centre and have 360 degree view.The different display modes is a great feature and the focus is accurate BUT I have noticed on a few occasions when I have been by myself the camera would focus/use one of the cameras I was not in front and you would end up seeing my monitor or would focus on something else in the room if I move slightly and then go back it will use the correct camera its almost as if the video conference system would then work out which camera it should be using.The touch pad/buttons on the video conference system is very responsive/sensitive and I have no complaints about this at all.Overall I am happy with the video conference system I do feel it is slightly overpriced as it is only 1080p BUT there is no denying the quality and how good it is.

Build quality great works really simply, just plug a go, Had no issues at all once we worked our where all the leads go.

This conference camera from Toucan is really interesting. Offering 360 degree coverage it can track audio via AI and switch to the relevant camera.The box is quite substantial. Inside you have the camera and speaker unit, the AC power outlet with a UK plug attachment, a USB-C cable and some documentation. The conference camera is quite large and has a built in speaker. It has a touch controls around the top and the camera itself can be detached, or covered with the supplied hood. Everything looks and feels well made.The conference camera system is pretty much self contained. So it doesn't really need software to access its functions. Instead all of the features can be used with the touch controls. This allows you to connect it to most devices and it will function much like a regular webcam. The camera can be set to output all 4 cameras in a grid, it can use them to create a panoramic shot, a combination of both, or just focus on the active speaker via the AI tracking. Zoom(digital) functions are also accessible via the touch controls, as is volume and mute functions.There is no doubt this a well made device. However it has some significant issues that are hard to overlook at this price point. The video quality isn't bad but it doesn't resolve a lot of detail. The panoramas look better, but the other angles lack the detail I would expect at 1080p. For some reason the camera also defaults to a slight zoom on the subject. Which doesn't help the video quality. The other issue is the sound. It is very compressed with digital artefacts. I tried this on Windows and ChromeOS. While windows was usable it still wasn't what I would expect at this price point. ChromeOS was worse and almost unusable at times. Maybe you might get better results with different software or settings? But this isn't obvious in anything I've read. I feel like some external mic inputs wouldn't go amiss. The internal speaker is fine but if you are using this with a desktop PC you may prefer to use your own speakers. For laptops etc this is quite useful.In many ways this is quite an impressive system and I will find use for it. However at £499 I would expect the image quality to match sub £100 cameras and to have clear natural sound. At half this price it is probably worth it. But at the current price I would only recommend it if you really need an all in one solution that isn't dependant on the system you are connecting it too.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great device. Its picture quality is great and so is the sound from the base.I used this for a Zoom meeting and it was exstramly usfull and clever as the unit can pick out a voice and switch the visuals in accordance.It is expensive but its not really aimed for single users at home.For example, You can place this in the center of a round table with a team of staff members. No technician required once set up. Just turn it on and let the AI within do all the camera switching for you.I love this!5*****
