Poor finish quality
Disappointed with price given the quality of the finish. Many spots that appear worn through. Would be ok if you spent $300 but for $800 pretty poor quality. Also doors on left and right as delivered opened in the same direction. So not sure why they specify left and right. You also cannot modify given that they pre drill the knob holes. Overall would not buy again at this price point.

Hard to assemble
It is really nice, looks great. But it took two carpenters 4 hours to assemble. There is a lot to the assembly process

Buyer Beware: Stylish Desk, Impractical for Daily Use
Good:Sturdy desk, my wife'n I ordered one earlier this year to replace our L-shaped desk. Plenty of storage in desks and on shelves for all our books + printer, photos, and some plants. We took one of the ends and put it in another corner of the room. Looks great! ... key word: *looks*.the bad:The desk height is 24"/2ft! This is *not* a tall desk. I'm taller than average, but not a giant(5'11"), and my knees run up against the bottom of the desk when trying to sit under it (more on this later). We've ordered risers, but currently, it's a literal pain in the ass to sit for long hours at it.The really bad, like, excruciating:The desk *depth* is *shallow*. At 18.5", it's one of the most shallow "desks" compared to others. This isn't apparent from photographs, but you'll *feel* it as soon as you sit down. There's just a lack of space to place items or effectively work for long hours. If you're planning on using a laptop for more than a half hour, get a different desk. The desk depth, combined with the height makes it such that if placed flush against a wall(like you'll probably want), you will physically be unable to sit at this desk comfortably. The distance from the wall at less t than 2ft will be awkward!TLDR:If you're not using this "desk" often, or want an aesthetic piece, maybe? Otherwise, if using as a daily desk, do yourself a favor, and get a proper desk at least 25" in in depth.TIP: See if you can spot desks with chairs actually placed under them, y'know, like how humans sit at desks. For this product, those photos don't exist because most chairs can't fit under this desk. Purchase at your own peril
