I don't know much about steel plates. I just needed something so I could extend my bull bar out. I replaced my front bumper with an aftermarket. When I did this, my bull bar would not fit. Drilled some holes in these plates and it worked out great. Unknown if these rust easy or not. I spray painted them before installing.

Flat which is important, since I'm using this plate to protect my welding table. I cleaned off the mill scale and welded on a grounding post in one corner. It's much easier to grind off inadvertent welds and spatter on this plate than to do so on a portable (12-gauge) table.

It’s cold rolled steel. I used it for a backer plate for a winch. Seems to be fine.

Used for bracing parallel unistrut trolley tracks.

Perfect machining. Both plates match perfectly
