As expected from a German manufacturer this is a no nonsense well designed solid utility product. I've already had the XXL version for a couple of years and this is virtually identical apart from the dimensions. The XXL version assembled in a matter of minutes without any tools as it's held together with bolts and wingnuts but for this version the wingnuts have been replaced by nuts so I needed to use a socket set.Without these racks I had to stack my logs in a triangular shape to stop them falling but due to the sides on this rack I can now store more logs in the same footprint as they can be stacked in a rectangular shape.If the logs are shorter that 25cm (as mine were) you'll need to put something across the base and possibly the uprights to give extra support. I just put a narrow length of wood to solve this issue as most of the logs I purchased were about 23cm in length (this isn't a fault with the product, just how my supplier cuts their logs)

Bought this and a cheap tarp to store a load of horse chestnut while the normal log store was full. Easy to assemble. The construction is rather flimsy, you will notice a tendency for the sides to bend outwards a bit once it's full. Tied a rope between the sides to keep them upright. Not sure how this will survive in the long term, since there is already white powder on the zinc and the feet are plastic. If it was under cover, say a carport, probably as good a wooden log store, and of course, it's portable. For the money, it is does do what it says on the box, and it's perfect for short term storage.

Arrived promptly, well-packaged.Easy to put together. Not the sturdiest construction but does the job and is hardly noticeable once the logs are stacked on it.

This was a gift for someone as I have had one for 4 years and it fits the space I have for it and contains the wood perfectly and looks good .

Log Seasoning & Storage

Short of having a dedicated woodshed, this is a great alternative if you are short of space. It can be covered by a canvas, but even without one the air circulates and keeps the wood reasonably dry. We have two of these against walls under the eaves on the lee side of our house. They keep the wood neat and surprisingly ready to use. Even in a wet winter we only bring a few logs in by the hearth. After only a day or two inside they burn fine.

Very well designed and manufactured, works perfectly for intended purpose.

There is nothing so cheap and easy to assemble on the market, so we are happy with it. However, its cross bars are wider than the logs our groundsman cut (which are sort of chimnea length), so we have to use a rod or something longitudinally to keep the longs straight. A row of long longs across the bottom will also do the trick.
