Great for tinkering with padlocks during bad weather as a way to pass the time. Good kit, well made, worth the money and very informative to how padlocks work. Would recommend as a gift for someone with endless curiosity.

I love this product so much and it works so well. It is a great product if you are looking to getting into lock picking. The black covers add a level of difuclty when it get to easy. There are a perfect amount of tools to pick locks and they are very good quality. The lock picking book is great for teaching you when you don't know how to pick locks so would definitely recommend it—perfect gift to give to people.

Great starter set

Bought this for my curious 10 year old and he isn't disappointed. Good value and a massive range of different tools and locks to practice with. I like that the locks are clear but come with a cover so you can see what is going on inside while you learn and then test yourself with it covered.

The pick/rake tools are quite good and would work fairly well on padlocks. But the "see through" clear practice locks included in the boxed set are of poor quality and not recommended for the beginner. It may be that I received a sub standard set. Pick tools are useable but not the enclosed practice locks. I will return this set.

Good quality picks. The first set i got was cheap and broke if i put modrate force into it but this set alows alot of tension

The locks are weak enough that you can get used to the basics without being frustrated too easily. Some of the picks aren't useful but a lot are. The transparency helps a lot with understanding how the mechanism is overcome. For the price this is really worth investing in and persevering with.

I've bought both sets of this lock picking set and both times the padlock exploded and then if you have all the springs and the tiny metal bars that are in the keyhole I spent hours trying trying to put it back together trying the different swapping the springs and bars with no success so I bought the more advanced one and I got bored today and decided to give it ago and the next thing I know springs and bars flying everywhere the other locks are yet to explode on me unlike the ones in the picture I've attached and yes that's both padlocks for both sets
