Clover 2012 Huck Embroidery Needles

My friends and I use these blunt tip needles to make Teneriffe lace. Much nicer results than using tapestry needles.

I recently decided to try huck embroidery but was unable to locate these special needles.They came in a small light weight package. I was so excited that I ripped open the package at the mailbox (I am a country girl) and the wind took it away. I reordered and am happy!!

They were just what I needed

These needles may work for many projects. However, they do not work for huck/Swedish weaving on monk's cloth (too pointy) or on aida/huck fabric (too thick). Quality-wise, they are nice needles.Update (February 2017): I've begun doing huck embroidery/Swedish weave on huck toweling and thought that these needles would be perfect for that. I found them to be far less than perfect! The size is just right for use with this fabric, as is the bend in the tips. However, the needle has to be constantly rolled in your fingers in order to get the tip in the correct (upright) position. A size 22 or 24 tapestry needle is still my favorite choice for weaving on huck toweling, huck fabric and aida.

I bought this needle set to use for Huck embroidery, but I am also a weaver using a loom. I use the needles for the finishing my weaved materials all the time, so there is, for me, a double purpose for these needles. These are quality needles that can stand up to strenuous and repeated use. I would recommend them to Huck Embroidery Weavers and to Weavers alike.

Great set of blunt needles for huck or other needlework. My favorites were the ones with curved tips. Makes needlework go much easier

I didn't think I would like these as I was using Monk cloth and not the Huck. However, using the slightly bent needle and a longer length then I was used to, I really ended up liking it very much. So happy that I purchased them. Received them on time and in good condition. Thanks.
