this is a great defense to those "criminal priveleged" predators on the streets - i am in residential area but still better with this stun pointer- very ez to start up and charge then it is done ready to use - you have to touch the assailant but it works wow what a " lightening" spark - may just scare them off - at a fabulous price and peace of mind

It's just the other brand one i bought before but more plastic feeling and lighter. But i'm it does the same and hopefully I won't ever have to use it someone trying to rob me!

Well this thing says made in the USA 🇺🇸 which I don’t know is true but everything works really well on this and it’s sturdy and comfortable.The shock seems powerful I have not been stunned by it but the sound is loud enough to deter some.If you want something with more power then the super small ones that fit on a keychain then this is it.Simple design very sturdy ergonomically.

Good protection

Great value in protection.

Charge first and move the slide switch one notch, then try the light (which is fairly dim, single LED) so you know what to expect. Switch up to the next position (two notches up) and press the red rocker switch, it is quite loud and very intimidating, so you may just have to fire it when you may feel threatened, but it looks like it would deter anyone from attacking. One problem that should be considered is an assailant my try to take it from you and use it on you. The design has considered that possibility and made the handle notched to give you a very strong grip possible, so you can really hold on to it quite well. Some manufactures add a wrist strap to hold on to it, but if you have to take it out to use, you'll never get a wrist strap on, so the finger grips are a real plus.It comes with a short charging cable that does not require a separate power supply, just plug it in. The belt loop carrying case will hold it securely with the stun prongs facing up with a velcro flap that covers it up and the slide power switch is covered as well to prevent accidents. Even if you were to carry this in your pocket, I would suggest keeping it in the case to prevent an accidental discharge. I say this from experience, I had one over 25 years ago and while trying to pull it out of my pocket, I bumped the switch and zapped myself in the leg, that's an experience you will never forget, so be careful. Read the (so very tiny) instructions to get a little more insight. It says MADE IN USA on the box, but I couldn't find any mention or indication of that anywhere else.

Working so far

This is very lightweight and easy to carry with you. I flipped it on and pushed the button and tested it a few times in the air and it definitely works!The flashlight works ok, it's not super bright and the one on your cellphone absolutely is better but at this price point and for the convenience of a built in flashlight that'll work in a pinch- i'm not complaining.Yes these feel kinda cheap but if it's anything like the other one I have, it keeps going and going! I'll update this if it dies anytime soon. I carried it around all day with me yesterday in my bag and it's so light that I forgot I even had it.*If you've never used a taser before, just know that they make loud zapping sounds. I don't recommend touching the ends for a couple of minutes after pushing the button either, sometimes it'll hold a little bit of a charge and shock you. Saw it happen to a guy and it was hilarious watching him throw one across the room.
