Buy It!
I have played diatonic harmonica for many years, but I wanted to learn the theme from Midnight Cowboy which needs a C chromatic harp. I didn't want to pay the earth so based on other reviews went for the Forerunner 2.0 by East Top. Wow! It is ridiculously easy to play, the slide is smooth and tuneful. Within minutes I was playing Midnight Cowboy and sounding really close to the original. The harmonica feels good quality and I find it delivers clean notes with ease. I was a little surprised at how big it is compared to diatonics. Noting that there are a lot of chromatics out there for over £100, I think this is a bargain. Highly recommended, now to find more songs with chromatic harmonica parts!

Better quality than expected.
At the price it is very good value for money. Very nice sound. Easy to clean with removeable slide.

Trouble Free
I bought this to replace a Honer Discovery which sounds good when warmed up . I was immediately impressed with the build quality and ease to switch to a round hole mouth piece. I adjusted my limited technique and I found the sound smooth and less jarring then the Honer. The Honer will play louder buts it’s wind savers stick and need cleaning to frequently. As a first buy of a chromatic this east top cannot be surpassed . Highly recommended.

Quality instrument !!
This is a very good quality instrument ! The one I received all notes play well and tone and volume is spot on ! Yes does need more breath control than valved would need but worth it to spend a quarter of of the price !

Beautiful Mouthorgan.
I have written a review between this 12 hole model and the 16 hole. I would suggest you look up the 16 hole review. In general this mouthorgan which does not have valves perfomes extremely well and easy to play with not so much breath.

Great value for money
The harmonica looks good and sounds great, particularly in the lower register. Low notes are easy to blow and draw which is a big improvement on some more expensive harmonicas.

Out of June
The chromatic harmonica in the key of G is very out of tune in the lower octave. It is out of tune with itself, and this is very noticeable playing with the band. I am going to try and change it.
