The media could not be loaded. I apologize for the leavesbut the water is actually very clean in this small pond. As the sunlight hits the base it starts pumping. This is not a powerful pump but it's a cute fountain for this small pond. It sprays about 18 inches at max height and with the combination choices can have different sprays. It was easy to put together and no tools required. Doesn't spray much if sun is blocked by cloud or trees. Full dun would be best but it foes seem to float well and work well. It did take a couple of minutes for it to originally get pumping good.I recommend this fountain for small area pond. I love that it's solar powered

I bought this little pump for a bird bath. It works as expected with adequate power, and the many nozzle attachments give a lot of spray possibilities. It does need to be cleaned frequently because it sucks in all the bird bath debris and plugs up.First problem: the little suction cups on the bottom of the device are useless to hold it in place. I finally used three small rocks to keep it in the center of the water.Second: spray height and volume are highly variable depending on amount of sunlight, so it's hard to regulate on a sun/cloud day. Add wind, and the water blows everywhere out of the bird bath. Most of the nozzles shoot water too high to be useful in a bird bath when it's sunny. I need to refill water repeatedly.So....the pump works just fine except for the suction cups (not sure for how long; I've only used it for a few weeks), but it doesn't really work in a bird bath. And it will require an anchoring system of some kind to keep it from randomly floating around your body of water and spraying everywhere!

The media could not be loaded. I wasn't completely surprised but still disappointed that it was so finicky about the amount of sun required to create a steady flow. You can see in the video the difference in lighting required to go from intermittent to steady flow.I don't use the fountain heads because when running smoothly, the water will go up about a foot and often gets blown out of the tray. My goal is to have the water available but move enough to prevent mosquitos from laying eggs.

I usually buy these 2x a year for our pool. I purchased 3 knowing there would be at least one dud in the bunch. Turns out all 3 didn't last more than 1.5 months. Purchased in late July and stopped working by the end of August. These solar power fountains are always a hit and miss. Don't expect much and don't pay much for them!

Clear sky Daylight is insufficient to make it run. It needs direct overhead sunlight, or it barely pops up any water at all and will not run at all in shade. I should’ve returned it right away, but too late now

I’m not sure what the upgrade is, I had another one before for a couple of years and the little pump quit working because the water dried up, there is no safety switch to turn it off when there’s no water. The other one had suction cups to hold it in place this one has none and floats around. It even flows a little on cloudy days

Good pressure on full sun. Keep it clean and it should last for years.

Hatte ihn bei Freunden im Pool gesehen und meine Frau wollte ihn unbedingt haben. Funktioniert sehr gut. Die verschiedenen Düsen lassen verschiedene Wasserspiele zu. Nervt ein pischen, wenn er nicht genug Sonne im Wasser bekommt. Unter einem Rand oder im Schatten, dann geht es immer pft, pft, pft. Aber trotzdem ein netter Gag im Pool.

Me ofrece mucha tranquilidad estar en la piscina escuchando el sonido del agua en movimiento, tiene diferentes boquillas para diferentes chorros y las instrucciones están muy bien detalladas, se desmonta fácil para limpiar, lo cual también sale en las instrucciones.

I’m really happy with this. It just arrived along with my new bird bath so I put it in the bird bath and filled it up and despite the fact the sun has disappeared and I’m left with a grey sky, it’s working. Not a constant stream but it’s flowing about 4 inches high every second. What a bargain! I was only expecting it to work in full sun so I’m really pleased. It’s easy to assemble, the instructions tell you which bits to use with the different nozzles to get different effects and it also tells you how to clean it so it will keep working well. Plus you have that lovely and relaxing sound of the trickling water. I’m looking forward to seeing it in full sun because the stream will be constant and it will probably reach higher too. My little birds have come over to have a look at it but not ventured in as yet. Will probably take them a few days to trust it. I highly recommend this.
