Works well on stove too..
These clay pots come in 3 pack.. They are dishwasher, oven and flame safe.. The size is not big though, they are size of a dessert plate and have 1 inch tall lip around them, so they are technically pans or serving plates not pots , LOL.. They mentioned to soak these in water before using them, but I am not sure whether we should soak them every-time we cook or only for the first time. They are great for serving guacamole, hummus, making 1 serving size desserts in the oven, serving curries for an individual. I made tempering in this on the stove and it worked great.. It’s a more natural and healthier way of cooking and eating in these.

Still learning how to use these
I love the idea of these terra cotta bowls. I was (and still remain) a little intimidated by them. The product listing says to simply soak them in water before cooking with them, and to start at a low heat. Others, however, seem to believe that these need to be seasoned like a wok or cast iron. So far I’ve mostly used them as serving bowls for dips and snacks. I’m still figuring out glue to cook with them. Lol.

I am so excited about all of the possibilities that the quality of these pots inspire in me to try.
I don’t have much experience with the Terracotta pots, but these are really well constructed. The pots are nice and thick, so I am not concerned about them breaking when they go in the oven. The surface area is smooth and there are not any areas that are misshapen. The color is even the whole way around and the thickness is consistent with the whole pot as well as with the other pots meaning it will cook consistently as well. There is plenty of space inside these pots to cook in, some other pots are so small or shallow that I wasn’t sure what to make in them. There are so many different schools of thought about how to treat them prior to use to ensure the longest lifespan. There are some that are really fast while there are others that can take about a week. The basic idea is that the pots are soaked and oiled before being sealed in at a high temperature that will keep any harmful toxins from leaching into the food. I have started the process with the soaking in water, then I realized that I was out of rice to soak in the starch water. I will say to anyone who has not cooked with these yet, to check into the preparation methods for preparing the pans to cook in before starting, there are different steps, but they have similarities to give me confidence in a couple of different methods that I am not going to choose the wrong one and mess up my pan.I love the idea of cooking with something so natural and seems lo rustic. I have never been afraid to try new things when I am cooking, I have found I can always learn something beneficial, and often even the failures teach me something to avoid. This will be a great new skill to master because I want to make an outdoor cob oven for a while now, so learning how to cook and treat these will go hand in hand. There is so many possibilities with these pots, I had no idea that they were able to do so much and there are so many resources that show how to use them. These are such good quality that I can see these being something that I will be able to teach my grandchildren how to use. There are not many pots that I can see lasting that long.

These are ok
Not what I expected but that is probably my fault. These are basically water trays for clay pots. It would be nice if they stacked a little better (more compact).

Nice pots!
I like these clay pots, the size is just right for baked dips or can be used for other items too (olives, nuts, etc) I haven’t tried them on the grill, but plan to. I don’t have much experience using clay pots (just my pampered chef bakeware).
