I bought this because I needed something for our cats to scratch on in our travel trailer but have limited space. This works perfectly. We set their food bowl on it, so it is doing double duty as a food mat catching any kibble and still has enough space for them to scratch. They like it because they prefer carpet like this to scratch on and so far haven’t scratched anything on our RV. It is sturdy and two months in isn’t showing any signs of wear. Good value for the money. Would buy again!

But my orange ginger will not have anything to do with a camera. As soon as he sees it he stops what he's doing and that's it, he'll just look at you. He loves his mat, he even plays with the balls. There's two, one on each corner. He scratches and scratches then lays down. If you touch it he'll run to see what your going to do with it. Hahaha He loves it. It's well made peace has gone at this mat with everything he's got. He's a 15 pound cat! Sometimes we don't get his nails clipped before they turn into razors and he's not torn into it yet. So I think so far it's great for the money I paid. I just lay it in the living room floor, my baby knew right away what it was for. Maybe a minute out of the box and laying in the floor and he was scratching.I highly recommend this mat.

Cat loves it but adhesive isn’t very strong and rips paint off walls

I have 4 fur babies that would scratch through cardboard scratch pads. Shreds of cardboard everywhere on a daily basis.Now they are a little confused but I put the scratch pads exactly where I had the boards.What I love about these is the have velcro underneath to help stay in place. With self stick tape also.

Unfortunately my cats ignore it. Not sure if it will stay attached to the wall as neither cat is interested.Bought two. one seems pretty sturdy on the floor. The cardboard scratchers they love, however it’s continuous clean up. So …. Thought this was a good substitute. They aren’t having it. I can’t really rate it. As some cats probably take to it. For mine I suspect it’s the tight weave. Mine seem to prefer something with some give and this mat is pretty stout. Thus it was a waste of money for me. I hope it works well for someone. Because the striped ones are attractive, cosmopolitan looking and a space saver.

How many things can you say that about these days. These really are solidly made and are attractive too. My cats love to roll around and scratch on them. I have not attached them to anything. I just laid them over areas I don’t want the cats to scratch at. These work very well.

I’ve been looking for a flat scratcher for my Twister (and to save my carpets) because he has trouble using elevated ones or posts. So glad I found this. Opened, demonstrated by scratching on it myself, and sprayed some catnip spray and he took to it right away. He loves it! So far so good.

This scratch pad is a good size, hefty and thick enough to not rip off when used, and easily installed. I have 2 adult cats and they immediately loved it. I wasn't even done putting the velcro down before they were trying to use it. And now my bed is being used as a scratching post way less.
