Fantastic value alternative to an expensive OEM replacement
I love Oakley sport sunglasses. I’ve had several pairs over the years and the comfort, fit & performance in keeping the sun out have been, in my opinion, unparalleled. We have Glaucoma running in our family, and my optometrist told me years ago that I should wear polarised lenses all the time when driving, even though I don’t need glasses. Enter Oakley, stage left....So whilst I’m singing the manufacturers praise, I must also now stick a bit of a knife in their back. It’s the old chestnut of cost. You shell out a couple of hundred quid for some state-of-the-art eyewear, then go and scratch the damned lens by dropping them or some other idiot move. That’s okay, you can replace the lenses. Yay! But they’re hellishly expensive. Boo!Stage right, pop out these bad boys. The direct replacement from Oakley were quoted as being nearly a hundred quid! And whilst they would have doubtless had some great features that this set do not, you do sometimes need to evaluate and realise that I wreck these things so often, it’s probably worth a go at some less expensive replacements. It was a great move. They fit perfectly into the frame, they have excellent protection against the sun and I personally really like the colour. Recommended.

So far so good
My Oakley 12-903 (58 & 21) lenses were so bad and effectively unuseable - I didn't want to spend ££ so bought these polarized black replacements. Delivered next day. Easy to fit.Result is very good. Glare eliminated but colours remain pretty vivid. As others have mentioned they seem slightly thinner than the original lenses but pretty robust nonetheless- I am pleased that I will now be using the Oakleys again

Seem good quality
Didn’t think they would fit at first, you need to be quite firm snapping into place. Once in they look good and seem to do a good job so far with the sun, can’t tell a huge difference vs the original Oakley ones although they are a different tint so hard to compare exactly. Would recommend

... lot “uming and aring” whether these would be any good. The original Oakley ones were almost as much ...
I bit the bullet and got these after a lot “uming and aring” whether these would be any good. The original Oakley ones were almost as much as I paid for the glasses so may as well of bought new ones ! Anyway I ordered these and they came in a few days. I was surprised that they came with a nice soft cloth bag. A lot of reviews are right that they are a bit thinner than the originals. It was a bit of a struggle to get them in as they didn’t want to just “snap” into place like the originals do. They were ever so slightly a different shape, but with a little patience they popped in. They look good and I’m happy with them. I wouldn’t want to take them out and put them back in, but if you are after permanent replacements these are pretty good. Too early to tell how resistant they will be to marks but for £25 worth a punt.

Good for the money
Well for the money I can't complain, and I'm abit of a glasses snob. The reports of the lenses being thinner are true, but they seem to fit fine, my stock lenses always make me feel like I'm going to break the frame. I just wanted to change to look of my Flak jackets without breaking the bank and not bothering if I scratch them. The polarisation appears to work well, but time will tell how quick, I will update once I have been biking and skiing. If you think they are going to be a deep iridium red then you will be disappointed, yes red but in overcast conditions they are opaque from the outside. The pictures are taken under bright light so they will look darker.

Works fine for me.
Use these trail riding in autumn/winter time. Used few times now and work well at highlighting the greens and browns of the trails. Worked fine even when light dropped due to tree cover. Fitted well into flak jackets, just gives me more options without breaking the bank.

Not bad for the Price
I was happy with the colour and mirror finish in these lenses they looked very good and fit perfectly into my flakjackets. However after spotting them for a good week on holiday I was disappointed in comparison to my previous Oakley lenses. The quality is decent and fine for general use but I just didn’t get that crystal clarity I had with the genuine lenses. There was a blue filter which was fine but didn’t always reduce the brightness. I think they a more good value for the price and look but if you want the real deal then Oakley would be better.
