I’m doing occupational therapy for my wrist and they had me use this thing. I was intrigued enough to buy my own. Now my kids have stolen it and enjoy the game. Easy to use. Almost any kid can use it. And it builds strength in my wrists so there ya go.

I began using one of these as therapy for a broken wrist. I got hooked on it and bought one as a gift for my grandson. We've been competing to see who can "stack" them quickest. This is a great device!

Amazon delivery is AMAZING! Why cant UPS deliver as efficiently as Amazon???I bought this for my daughter who is overcoming some neurological challenges and now requires sensory and motor skills devices to assist with her therapy. We brought this Coordination / Balance device in to her physical and occupational therapist who both said its perfect for working on motor skills as well as body / space sensors.I tell you, its challenging for me and the therapists, but its doable! Lots of fun and passes time well. We challenge one another now that she's home with us again. We believe this will only add another positive tool to her recovery efforts.The wooden disks are staked on top of one another and separated by what sounds like bearings. The disks slide effortlessly making it a challenge but will sit on "dimples" once aligned until the user either moves too quickly or is out of vertical alignment.I think this balance toy will definitely outlast her rehab as it feels very well constructed. The wood handle is smooth and fits well in my adult sized man hands as well as my young nephew's.

I'm using this in PT for hand and wrist function. It also doubles as a fun way to check on sobriety after a night with friends.

(obtained a defective copy from amazon at first, about a third of a disk in the middle was missing and not found in the packaging, probably was broken before shipped. so had to return and get a second one.)after wrestling the toy out of the container, I (adult body) was able to do the trick upside reasonably easily. But trying it upside down gets rather frustrating quickly. out of 3 days of trying only succeeded once (issue is somehow the procedures do not seem as reproducible probably due to the additional instabilities).However after gentle to mild impact with soft surfaces (e.g. mattress, backpack), a disk split in about halves (similar to the defect of the original shipment where bamboo broke along the grainlines). it is now fixed with duct tape and I might try glue in the future if I get bored.

Some folks are difficult to buy for...but, this was a BIG winner. Bought for an active senior adult male. Absolutely loved it. Spent focused time trying to master the puzzle then again...and again...and again. Tried to increase speed and even tried with non-dominant hand. Gave as a Christmas gift and three months later is still using it! It is achievable but challenging. Definitely great for focus, mind and body. Intrigues old and young alike. Would be great to have on the coffee table at a family gathering. Everyone can take a try! Good quality. Nice investment. Great gift. Would definitely purchase again. Perfect for that individual that is tough to buy for...
