With that being said , Verizon Wireless has been extremely slow to respond to the growth so has all of the other companies which brings me to our dilemma . Even though we installed a Verizon provided extender which did help in the house our service is NOT acceptable , dropped calls & at times poor quality (can you hear me now) . So because of the cellphone issues & not much help other then the extender plus 2 emails to the state agency about bad service did we install a landline . Hence the purchase of these phones . We've had Vtech phones in the past & bought these due to past experience . A big screen because of older eyes plus enough features & an answering machine is all we needed .
