Works great...and I do not mind the scent - it is part and parcel of herbal remedies.

I was skeptical at first as well but I have been using this for almost two weeks, 1 pill before bedtime. I also drink sleep herbal tea as well prior to bedtime. For me the combo really works! I have a hard time falling asleep - thats my biggest issue. So with this combo I do above I have not had any issues falling right to sleep and staying asleep all night. Like others have reported, I do not have that groggy feeling at all when I wake in the morning. I had tried a couple of prescription and melatonin and both left me groggy in the mornings. Thanks NOW for this combo of sleep and relaxation ingredients...I had been looking for natural sleep ingredients without melatonin and this combo works wonderful for me! Don't change it!

I like this product, it is good for helping me sleep. I quit using perscription sleeping aids. I have gone to all herbs.

Helpful, but not perfect. It helps me sleep better, but I still wake up several times a night.

The doctor treating my Hashimoto's wanted me to use a more natural sleep aid and he recommended "Sleep" by NOW. I've used it about 18 months with good results. Recently, it's been hard to find and delivery takes about a week. (I had used my back-up bottle as well.) I worried it was being discontinued, but finally found it. My new bottle was delivered on June 15th, 2026. After the first dose of the most recent bottle, about a week ago, I had a different reaction when I started to fall asleep and again when I woke up, so that morning, I checked the label and saw the change. I've seen those ingredients before, and because it was still helping me fall asleep, I kept taking it. MAKE SURE YOU RESEARCH THE INGREDIENTS!! I've been waking with morning headaches and experiencing tingling/prickling in my hands and feet during the night, which wakes me up. The tingling and headaches go on through the day. Today, I finally decided to RESEARCH the SLEEP ingredients since I can't pinpoint another cause for these problems. I learned GABA can cause headaches and also tingling in your extremities. Valerian can cause headaches. GREAT COMBO!! On Amazon's return page, I contacted NOW, I guess??? Obviously, because it's a supplement and has been opened, it's not returnable, but I requested a refund due to the change in formula--which IS indicated in small, white letters on the front of the bottle, on the line with the new ingredients. I NEVER NOTICED IT WHEN I ORDERED IT, OR WHEN IT ARRIVED. I explained the situation on the chat, and was told that the chat person will contact the private seller and try to remedy the situation through email in the next couple of days. At this point, my $22 is not the problem. If I get it back, that's great, but it's more important for other consumers to be aware there's been a change and this change may not agree with you. Be sure you check out the new formula BEFORE YOU BUY!!! I wish I could have posted a NO STAR rating. It's sad and scary that they've altered this product.

I'm a fan of NOW products; this product though was not for me. Took one capsule 1st night, slight relaxation and help to fall asleep but did not stay asleep throughout the night; took two next night (their serving suggestion), better relaxation within 30 minutes but became very tired and exceptionally dizzy after that. Still woke up several times during the night, very dizzy, eventually fell back to sleep, a deeper sleep. Difficult recovery next day which lasted until mid-day, would not be comfortable taking this product with work next day. The dizziness was too much for not having continuous sleep. Maybe after a few days it regulates for effective for all night sleep, will update review at a later time. Not sure if it was just me but I felt a bit agitated while taking this product, I don't think I would buy again, will try another product to find the right one for me - this may work well for others, it's worth a try.

Omg!! This works amazing!! It takes like a week for it to kick in and take full affect.. but once you take it on a regular basis, it works every night wonderfully...especially if you take two of them (which is what I do)..

I have sleep issues and I have been using this product for many years. Regarding the taste it is a capsule so you can't taste anything but they do smell kind of yucky. They do work. They do calm me down and they do help me sleep that trumps any cons. It's not cheap but It's worth a try. There are many other more expensive products that don't work as well. I've tried a lot of them. And if you are a caffeine Drinker and that's why you're up at night nothing's going to change that. You have to stop drinking caffeine so close to bed time.
