Great tasting natural honey
I use this in my coffee.Tastes the bollocks !Was partially crystallised, but that’s a sign of good quality honey. Don’t know why people are complaining.I’d be worried if it didn’t.Will certainly by again . Great company & product.Winnie the Pooh 🧸

Crystallised
Upon opening this jar of honey it was heavily crystallised which even though is natural for some honeys i was a but disappointed by the presentation. I was able to soften the honey back to its runnier state by standing the jar in hot water for about 20 minutes. This does remain runny but does recrystallise again after a while.Looks and form aside, it is pale, has a somewhat runny consistency and is pleasantly delicious. This honey is very nice spread thinly on toast, stirred into tea or used for cooking. I am told honey in general is good for the immune system but i don’t use it enough to notice the difference.£10.99 for 227g, equating to just under £50 per kilo (at the time of review) which for me is expensive for honey, even priced similarly to manuka which is notoriously good quality and expensive. I was a bit underwhelmed by the crystallisation and price, even though it is lovely quality, nice tasting honey i am unlikely to buy it again.

If you like honey, you’ll love this
Not all honey is the same - this is about as far removed from the bog standard stuff you can buy cheaply in supermarkets as champagne is from lemonade. This luscious little jar of goodness is rich, sweet and almost creamy, made by busy little bees entirely from clover pollen, in Scotland. Pure and simple, it’s a reminder, almost, to just enjoy and savour the genuine pleasure of our clever little bees. And each jar donates 10p to Repollinate, the charity which helps conserve the UK’s pollinators. It’s a runny honey but as it’s absolutely pure, it does crystallise and set a little when stored (you can see that in the underside of my last photo). Letting it sit in a mug of hot water for 5 minutes or so helps it dissolve again. Definitely not one for the fridge or to melt in the microwave! It’s got a hugely long sell by date, 2026, as the natural sugars in honey keep it preserved. Be aware, it’s not suitable for very young children, as honey can contain spores, which in a small child’s developing gut, could cause botulism. But all that aside, get yourself some really good nutty bread, fresh butter and then just spread this little beauty, savour every mouthful and enjoy the luxury of one of the best honeys I’ve had in my life.

A Premium Monofloral, Pure Tasting Honey From Scotland - Runny & Crystalised Makes For A Tasty Combo
This is a very pleasant, monofloral honey from the Scottish Bee Company. On opening the glass jar it was noticeably runny on the top, but on digging the spoon a bit deeper, there was a more solid, crystallized honey. You can see the difference in textures in my collage photo. The taste was sweet, very pure (in a slightly one dimensional way), and it was lovely off the spoon. It felt "fresh" which is an odd thing to say, and I'm not sure whether the "Scottish Bee" name had subliminally made me think of a beautiful Scottish landscape, but it popped into my head anyway as I grabbed another spoonful.Of course you can get rid of those crystallised bits by gently heating the honey in warm water, but I actually really liked the combination as those crystallised bits with the runny honey felt similar to eating honeycomb. The premium taste is matched by a premium price, but if you are after a premium honey and maybe want to try one that is produced closer to home (than maybe Manuka), then this is very good.

Delicious honey
The jar of honey arrived with some bubble wrap around it. The inside of the bubble wrap and outside of the jar was sticky. The jar I received seems undamaged. It could be a case a nearby jar had become damaged & had leaked in the warehouse. This honey is delicious. It is a premium product and the contents is quite small at 227g. An ideal treat or gift for any honey fan; or for anyone who likes honey and would be curious about trying this particular clover honey.Due to recent cold weather part of the honey had crystallised. This is a naturally occurring thing with honey. The honey is perfectly fine for consumption and the crystallisation can be reversed via placing the jar in some warm water or in a warmer environment. I however do quite enjoy the crunch of crystallised honey.

Fantastic pure honey
I love honey, in drinks, in porridge, on toast etc so it’s important for me to find honey that tastes good. There’s a surprising amount of different honeys that all taste different, some are more flowery, some sweeter and some have a slightly spicy taste. It’s mostly down to how pure the source is (single farms who control their hives vs multiple sources that you find in most supermarket honeys). This Scottish Clover Runny Honey is from a single source so they can control where the bees get their pollen. As such the flavour is much richer and fuller than cheaper honeys. This honey has a very sweet flavour with a slight flowery tone to it and is more akin to what you imagine honey to be like in your mind, the proper stuff. It’s well worth the higher price in terms of flavour and quality.
