Sensory Squares ideal for infants and toddler play!
As a Nursery Practitioner, I am always excited to be offered for review toys and books as I am able to share these with the children in my Nursery. I work in the 2 - 3 room, and so will share these with other rooms including babies and toddlers, as they will really enjoy the sensory nature of these soft spongy mats. Made from 9 individual mats measuring 25 cm by 25 cm, these can be joined together using the velcro fasteners to create one large mat for play and tummy time, or can be used individually for sensory exploration. You can make a long track to encourage walking, or keep this in a large square formation to suit your use. Each individual square is covered in a different colour or pattern of material and offers a different texture including soft, ridged, plush and wool. The different patterns offer visual stimulation and include black and white stripes as well as block colours and spots. I love these mats and feel that they offer a good variety of play experience - babies and toddlers will use them for tummy time and early walking, while my older toddlers will enjoy exploring the sensory elements and develop vocabulary and descriptive skills. The mats are well cushioned and thick and the material seems to be thick enough to last well. This is a really lovely resource which I am very glad to be able to add to our toy chest, and feel that the price is very reasonable at £24.99 - currently on offer at £21.59 too!

Soft with a little padding!
beetoy Sensory Texture Puzzle Mat for Baby, 9 Pcs Sensory Tiles Toys for Autism, Soft Sensory Crawling Mat Set, Activities Motor Skills Special Needs for Boys and Girls, Sensory Room EquipmentThis comes packaged in a clear cellophane bag, presentation is not very good especially if purchased as a gift, i suggest if purchased as a gift to remove from cellophane bag and wrap in tissue paper and place in a pretty gift bag. This has so many different textures so its a good sensory mat for little one, theres 9 tiles that come together with the magic tape provided or can be used separately. They are soft and have a little padding inside. Its light in weight so its handy to take out with yoy for baby. Its exactly as the description describes, no issues as of yet.Can recommend.Ok quality.Average price.

Encourages development
This sensory mat is amazing! I love that you can move the individual tiles to however you want them too. Great for even older kids, especially older siblings that feel a but jealous and left out. Can set up jumping stones or a path for them to walk on. Make them close their eyes and describe what each tile feels like. For little ones the benefits are limitless, sensory, promotes walking and crawling, colours and pattern, and and and.The individual tiles are so easy to attach to one another. The only complaint I’d have is that there is nothing to hold the mat down and keep it from sliding. However, that’s an easy fix as you can buy anti slip corners for carpets. For the little price you are paying compared to other sensory mats that is definitely a very minor issue. Edition if you have carpet in your home.

Nice idea, more variety needed
There are different textures on the squares and with the option to arrange them as you want to. Whether as a 3x3 mat, arranged in a weird shape, and so many more options.I would have preferred it if there was more of a variety when it came to those textures and sensory mat. For example, having a square that crunches when touched, giving more of an overall sensory experience.Super portable for you to take with you if you're going on holidays, or just to transport from your house to somebody else's.

Material squares
A set of nine material covered squares. These are attached by velcro strips on all four edges.I found that some of them were baggy around the foam inners. I found that once on the floor they were very slippy unless placed on a carpet. When my niece was using them the material was ruching under her feet.A great idea, but i feel they are of poor quality and very overpriced.

Customisable sensory floor pads
These 9 sensory floor pads have Velcro on all sides so layout can be completely customisable. Lots of different colours and textures but soft enough for really young babies learning to get used to tummy time. When attached as a grid they also easily fold up together for storage and easily portable. There will always be two sides of the grid where the Velcro tabs will hang out but thankfully it’s the soft part of the Velcro, not the hooks. As they all come apart, it makes the mat easy to spot clean by throwing it in the washing machine as individual pads.

Great size and good texture mix
These mats are a nice and large size so you dont need too many to make a nice area for the kids to play on. The various textures really allow them to use multiple senses alongside seeing the different colours and enhancing their skills. Very worth helping their development alongside protecting them on hard flooring.
