I had one of these for years and had no problem with it until the string snapped. After this, I purchased another one, and within days the beads were getting chewed off (my son has baby teeth and bites on it for maybe an hour or two a day for sensory comfort). I figured it was just a cheap imitation so ordered another from here. It lasted a week and a half. It is a good job I heeded the adult supervision required as it was a serious choking hazard.

Fantastic item and does exactly what it says it will!My daughter was chewing everything in the house to comfort herself and after realising she needed help we bought this bracelet for her.It’s inconspicuous enough that she can wear it to school without being teased and when she needs to she can discreetly bite it to comfort herself.It’s stopped her chewing our banisters and her bed so I’m extremely happy!

My niece is only 3.5y however suffers with over stimulation and it takes her hours to settle at night. My sister has a horrendous time with tantrums and screaming till very late. We were at a loss with what to try and I ordered this in desperation. The first night my sister put her to bed she explained to my niece to bite down when she felt cross and she fell asleep immediately biting her bracelet. The second night she threw it in anger and then started biting and then fell asleep. It’s been a week now and it’s transformed bedtime for my sister. The only negative is it’s too big for my niece so wish there was a smaller version but that aside it’s brilliant and I wish I had this when my son was younger as he suffered too, this would have been amazing.

Pricey but good; my daughter (6, undiagnosed) no longer needs to suck on my finger to go to sleep, she can easily keep track of her "Chewie", and I can let her clean it herself as it is easy to keep clean and she likes the texture of it in her fingers when slippery with soap. It's way too chunky for her to wear it, though. Even at adult size, it would drive me nuts to try to wear it.

Do not buy if your child is autistic and has a need to chew and pull any thing they put in their mouth. Unfortunately ours broke (the elastic frayed) within 24 hours of taking out of the packet. We are now counting the balls hoping he hasn't swallowed any!!!

Well built. Exactly what was needed. Still in one piece. Not sure what to say other than good quality, excellent and prompt service and does exactly what it says it does. My daughter tested it to check it was safe before giving it to my grandson. She wants one now! Highly recommended

My first review of this product told of a rash that appeared round the users mouth after use. However I have to say that the incredible response from 4thenewyou was second to none. As soon as they heard of this problem a swift and courteous response was submitted with a very satisfying and helpful outcome. Top marks!

This was bought for my niece who has severe autism. She was happily playing with this then it broke and completely came apart in her mouth. She almost choked on the pieces! Quite a dangerous thing for a child!
