Great product and impressive customer service.
These are the best capos I have ever used. Super light weight, not oversized, very comfortable to use and good looking all for a great price. The customer service is also great, as soon as I placed the order I got confirmation from the seller as well as amazon. The sellers email was a nice touch and I got to say made me very excited to try the product. I also got another once I had received the delivery that had a ton of useful information.I have not had the capos long enough to say how long the spring will last but out of the box they are just right to keep the tension on the stings without me worrying about slipping or damaging. I have used these on a variety of neck sizes and string gauges.Overall if I could rate this more than 5 stars I would, and il be sure to look out for other products by Nordic Essentials.

Great capos
We've had these capos for a few years now and they are still going strong. Best capos we've had.

Well made, good value.
I purchased these after breaking the spring on my previous (well known brand) capo that I had owned for around ten years. I made the decision to try these as the pack of two was around the same price as a single item from the previous brand and as I own several guitars it is useful to have more than one capo. They are well presented in a cloth bag inside the box and appear to be well made and robust. On one of them the padding was coming away from the rear clamp and will require some glue to reattach it.In use they work well and exert a firm and even pressure with no tendency to pull the guitar out of tune. My guitars are all fitted with medium gauge strings so I cannot comment on how they would perform on an instrument with large frets and very light gauge strings.I like this type of capo for its quickness and convenience. It can be clamped to the headstock when not in use.If it had not been for the padding issue I would have given five stars.

Strong and solid quality product
Quick delivery from Amazon (arrived two days before estimated delivery in Denmark) and I received several personal messages from the seller who e.g. wanted let me know my order had been dispatched from Amazon, and later wanted to make sure I was happy with my capos. One of the capos has been given to my niece who's very happy with it. If she hadn't borrowed the two (acoustic) guitars I had with all strings still on them, I would've tested the one capo that I kept for myself properly, but it works very well with my electric guitars (with missing strings *sigh*).The capos appear to be strong and solid quality products and the 2 pack is a very good value-for-money purchase.

Great slimline capo for electric guitars
There are just a few tunes that require a capo, 'Run To You' by Bryan Adams being one of them. Being a purist, I was reluctant to buy one of these capos but when I saw the beautifully designed, smooth aluminium slim shape and strong spring, I knew his was a well-made piece of kit. Dense rubber pads protect the neck while a slim bar presses the strings to a new 'nut' position - which can be adjusted to give more fretting room without buzz. All this and a lifetime guarantee. You won't be disappointed, except, perhaps, in my rendition of 'Run To You'.

strong and easy to use
Well made, light, strong and easy to use.And the colours compliment my guitar very nicely. Haven't had any issues with string buzz which I used to get with my budget capo. You get what you pay for. Each capo comes in it's own bag, which is a nice touch. Communications from seller are excellent. They really do care about their product, and their customers. Very happy.

good value, but...
Pros- well made. Feel like they will last a good while- looks good- firm grip- reasonable value (and you get two of them)Cons- quite bulky. They stick out further than I thought though they don't get in your way when playing- awkward to fit. I found it difficult to use as you'd expect (think holding a gun) instead you have to squeeze the end of the arms between your thumb and index finger, not a real problem for me but my wife (who these were for) has arthritis and finds it difficult to apply pressure like that.- pulls on strings. Careful placement is required otherwise as you release the arms the capo has a tendency to pull the strings towards its joint. Twice now it has pulled the closest string off the side of the neck. Not the end of the world but it's another faff i'd rather not worry about.Even taking into consideration the cons I would still recommend these capo as they are sturdy and good value and ultimately do what a capo is supposed to do.

i was pleasently surprised by there excellent quality since you are getting two capos for price ...
Recieved my capos on time and packaged well.i was pleasently surprised by there excellent quality since you are getting two capos for price of one. I have a twelve string guitar and a six string and found that my old capo really didn't do the job especialy on my twelve ie buzzing and dead strings . I found myself constantly having to move it around to get it right, but these babys cover all the strings nicely and do the job first shot every time. They are very light and have a nice strong spring. Very pleased with them.

Great Capo!!!
Exactly what I wanted. A great capo that looks good, is easy to use, and doesn’t put guitar out of tune when I use it.

Buy the two pack + lifetime guarantee means you'll never be without a capo.
I recently started playing the guitar again but couldn't find my shubb. I know its in the apartment somewhere, so I didn't want to buy another one. Instead, I wanted a cheap effective capo and started looking at this style pretty quickly. Comparing the price of the two pack to the single capos, this was by far the cheapest per Capo. Get the two pack - more on that in a minute. The capo itself is very effective. There is nice rubber and a solid spring, so you won't get much fret buzz. The way it's built, I very rarely find myself bending springs when I put it on, and then its really easy to fix (just squeeze to release and put it back on). Once its on, it stays in place, even when being knocked a bit.The rubber doesn't extend all the way out, so you do have to be careful to put this straight on as I could picture someone carelessly scratching their guitar... but honestly, this is true with any metal capo and is really easy to avoid. The only real downside to this capo (and it is apparently identical to other capos for sale with different branding) is the construction of the joint. While the capo is high quality rubber, and aluminum - for some unknown reason the manufacturer uses a really cheap plastic joint. I found this out about 3 weeks in when my capo broke apart while putting it on the guitar. Here's why I don't care: I got a two pack for under 20 bucks. I emailed Nordic, despite it still being in the return window, I gave them the option of me returning the Capos to amazon(I was just going to buy the Shubb) or they could send me a new two pack. My thought was, if I had three, and another broke, I'd still have two left. They obliged! (and fast - I got the capos two days later). My suggestion - buy the two pack. Safely stash away your back up - and if one breaks, email nordic for a replacement and start using your backup one. They claim a lifetime guarantee - I don't know how many times they will replace broken capos - but even if they only replace twice (one for each in the pack) I would imagine these will last you a while, and at the price - if you lose one you won't be overly upset.Summary: Be careful putting it on, and then it works great. Easy on, easy off.One broke, but the company was great about replacing it.Buy the two pack and even if one breaks you'll never be without a capo.
