Cute & Funtional!
This alarm is so cute! It has an Alarm clock & radio. It was easy to set up. It has many options when it comes to the sound you prefer as an alarm. It's colorful. You have the option of dimming the lights of the time as well. It's pretty small which is what I was looking for. I recommend this product.

Attractive Design, Intuitive Controls - Adequate Sound Quality
I wanted to replace my decades old Sony Dream Machine, and the Buffbee bluetooth clock radio’s ad touting superior sound quality (“stunning Hi-Fi sound”) caught my eye. The Buffbee has a very attractive, compact design and is a perfect fit for the decor in my bedroom. I’m a senior citizen on the cusp of having diminished capacity, but I found the initial setup to be intuitive and the top control panel is conveniently organized. The lighting controls are a nice feature, and I especially like the fact that the buttons on top stay lit when the alarm goes off, so it’s easy to make a selection in a dark room. One of the reasons I bought this model was the ad emphasizing the quality of the speaker. But this turned out to be the only underwhelming feature. I mean it’s perfectly adequate for a clock radio of this size and cost, but the ad oversells this feature. I’m still giving it a 5 star rating because at this price point it would be unrealistic to expect it to sound like there’s a live symphony playing in the background. I set the alarm to play NPR on the radio in the early a.m., so the sound is just fine for the spoken voice. I wouldn’t, however, use it to play music on other stations or through my laptop using the convenient bluetooth feature. I have other dedicated bluetooth speakers for music. To the developers — if in the future you issued a very high end version of this clock radio with a superior speaker, I would have no reservations paying substantially more to purchase another one. Overall, I enthusiastically recommend this clock radio, as long as you don’t have unrealistic expectations regarding the sound quality.

Radio gets louder than bluetooth. Picks up plenty of stations. Haven’t tried alarm. Display is nice.

Radio Reloj agradable.

Does NOT permit tuning
YOU CANNOT TUNE THE RADIO. Instead, you hold down a button and it scans the spectrum, storing the stations with the best reception. But it doesn't display either the frequency or the radio call-sign - instead, it displays the number it chooses to assign to each station. So if you run the scan, then take the time to go through every station manually, listen to determine what the frequency or call sign is, and then write everything down on a sheet of paper and post it on the wall next to the radio, that can work. UNTIL RECEPTION QUALITY CHANGES, that is - and then the radio reassigns numbers without warning. There's no way to identify the station you're listening to other than to hear it announced. So if you happened to buy one for the place you're moving into in a new town (where you don't already know the call signs and frequencies of local stations) - let's just say, set-up is not a relaxing experience.

Looks Awesome, but Looses Some Points for Functionality
Great looking clock! Sounds great, has plenty of bass, and works well with bluetooth. Aesthetically, it's definitely a cut above the rest. Functionality wise..eh..The 'backlight' for all the buttons only stays on for 5 seconds or less before disappearing, which makes it super hard to navigate in the dark. Key buttons like volume control are 'hidden' amongst the rest; whilst the 'set clock' button for example, which you'd never use in the dark, are located near the top and easier to find. On the plus side, the snooze button is front center and easy to hit, with several brail like nubs to help reassure you're hitting the right button, but the rest are indistinguishably smooth. I sure wish there were some, if not at least a single, nub(s) on either the volume buttons or scanning buttons for the same purpose. Would make a huge difference. The auto preset for radio stations is kind of cool, but that's also the only option it comes with and it's pretty awkward scanning through radio stations to be honest, although it functions well enough I suppose. The biggest drawback though, is that the battery it comes with is designed only to keep track of the time and alarm time setting. Not only will the display go dark if unplugged, but the alarm gets turned off as well. So if the power goes out you're screwed. Definitely not reliable as an alarm clock during a power outage. Although, I suppose it IS advertised as a 'plugged in' clock, so I guess that's on you, but still.. that's pretty essential for an alarm clock.

Unique!
I decided that the time had come for me to have an alarm clock/ radio on my own side of the bed. I opted out of the 'projection' ceiling type. I picked this product because it advertised a good speaker. (We all know how cheap very small speakers can sound). It does indeed sound very nice for small. It has very cool bottom light options, not as bright as a real night light but the wow factor makes up for that. The operating buttons are very small. They do light up for a second upon contact but then stop. I wish that you could make them stay on. After a few days, I became accustomed to the setup though, even half asleep. I mean, once it's set, it's pretty much set. The machine is wrapped in a fabric, sort of see- through. Very interesting. It's like an electric donut on your bedside. I enjoy peeking at it while sleeping. If yo can get over the tiny buttons I recomend it!
