It’s about time something like this appeared. We hear so much about the Illuminati nowadays; it’s good to see a bit of the truth come out. Weishaupt was a genius and drew up very detailed plans for his Order. More importantly, it is a very good thing that these writings now appear in English. I will admit that initiations can be a bit boring to read. But because of the importance of the Illuminati, one should still make the effort. This is a complete and comprehensive volume. “Instructions for a Better Understanding of the Order’s Organization” is an inspirational piece of writing. It is what we can call a Knowledge Lecture. Weishaupt certainly outdid himself on this one. I can see why many people respect him and seek his writings. As I said, it is truly inspirational. The historical Illuminati dates back to a time when it seemed a masonic-like structure was the way to go. That is no longer valid. A church-like organizational structure would appeal to most people living in the 21st Century. This is an important document, and I’m very glad that it has now appeared in English. Buy it already!

A Gem! This book is the first book to to bring the doctrine and ritual of the Order of Perfectibilists (Illuminati) to the average reader. People should really appreciate the scholarship and research that was put into bringing together this information in one volume for the first time. In my opinion the publication of this book is very timely, first to dispel all the myths and conspiracy theory's and secondly I believe the strategy of the order to seek educational reform and strive to bring about a society based on Reason and not superstition and prejudice is very relevant Today! I often talk and consult the editor Joseph Wages because he is indeed a scholar on the subject and promises more materiel to come. Stay tuned!

ACADEMY OF ANCIENTS OR OF SECRETSThe French name is Académie des Secrets. A society instituted at Warsaw, in 1767, by M. Thoim de Salverte, and founded on the principles of another which bore the same name, and which is said to have been established at Rome, about the end of the sixteenth century, by John Baptiste Porta. I found it to be very interesting as a historical account of the Bavarian Illuminati that was disbanded in the late 1700's, it's a great history book for people interested in initiatory mystery traditions and history. The book goes through the degree & ritual work as well as the events that caused it to be closed. If you can't find it here for a decent price go to lewismasonic

People who do not like this book and comment as such are doing so because the book didn't confirm for them all the nonsensical conspiracy theories they have already bought into. THE REAL ILLUMINATI did not exist before Adam Weishaupt founded it in Bavaria in the 1700s. All of the ANCIENT conspiracy theories are nonsense for the consumption of more gullible minds seeking sensationalism. THIS BOOK presents the real Illuminati. For those seeking a truthful account and who have objective minds - this is it. If you were looking for some Hollywood Horror movie ritual full of demonic worship and blood sacrifices - this isn't it. And any book presenting that is authored by liars.

I purchased this book as I am interested in culture, myth, and legends. It is always interesting for me to examine the rituals, superstitions, and god(s) of people. This book was well written and sheds light on the rituals and doctrines of the Illuminati and Masons. I wish it had also included more information on the origins of some of these beliefs and rituals too, in order to better follow the line of origin of the myths these rituals and doctrines were based on. The book and paper are nice quality and the print size is nice as well.

There is no other book in the world that gives you chapter and verse, how the Illuminati conducted their ceremonies and how they were organised. Years of work must have gone into pulling all of the strands of the mysterious Illuminati together to consolidate them into this one distilled book. It is a book for all masonic students who have an enquiring mind and who want to know. This book will tell you. Its not much good for people who are not on the square. But if you are, you can follow it easily. It goes back to a specific time, a couple of hundred years ago and it brings it all back in a fresh and understandable way. I would imagine this book will soon become a rarity, so get it now while you can.
