In addition, because we have young children and jobs, we often cannot maintain appropriate proportions, roll schedules, etc. If we wait for more than a day or two before emptying, the trash cans on the counter often have mosquitoes and a bad smell.This QMCAHCE composter is great. It has revolutionized our food waste game, making our food waste composting very simple, fast, and convenient. "We collect leftovers in the trash can on the counter, then pour them into this machine every day or every other day, and try to run it all night.". I took a front photo of the leftovers we used, and then a back photo of what it looked like. Just press a button and you can easily add a filter to the back of the composter. The 3L bucket comes out of the composter and when the cycle is complete, it can easily fill the bucket and dump dirt. It also includes a plastic spatula for scraping compost and a bag of disposable plastic gloves. When you press the open button, an automatic voice will thank you for your contribution to the environment. (My children love this part.) The sound also tells you when the composter enters each new stage of the composting process. Apart from the sound, the composter is a quiet machine. The entire process takes approximately 6 hours.Its compost is not as easy to use as real compost. It doesn't have any strong odors, which is good, so we can collect it in a large container until we are ready to use it. We must mix it with the soil or lightly sprinkle it around, otherwise it will become moldy."We tried to keep the unit running all night, so if there was an odor, it wouldn't bother us, and thankfully, it would never remain.". The fresher the food residue, the less likely you are to have an odor, so I can say there is no odor. It really depends on what you put in it. In fact, if you put fruit in it, it will even have a fruity fragrance.

Bought in August 23. Lasted until March 24. No longer runs the grind cycle. It will run the dry cycle and then it powers off completely. I verified it’s not locked up and I never overload it. It is acting like a sensor has malfunctioned that tells it to start the grind cycle. I really wish Amazon would take care of predatory sellers like this. Barely lasts past return dates and Amazon didn’t offer an extended warranty when I bought it. That should have been a red flag. I’m now seeing quite a few reviews with the same issue and neither the seller OR Amazon are making it right. What a shock, no accountability. What a disappointment.

The composter arrived quickly and was well packaged with no damage. After reading the instructions, I filled it to the appropriate level and four hours later had compost. An unexpected bonus is that my dogs LOVE this stuff. I composted a piece of beef that was past its prime, mixed greens including collards, turnips, mustard greens and fresh kale, onions, garlic, banana peels, and two apples. When it was composted I put it into a bucket I am using to collect the "dirt". My dogs were VERY interested in the contents of the bucket, so I sprinkled some into a dish for them and all three of them scarfed it up. I thought I was making dirt, but I guess the nutrients appeal to my kids. I make try baking it into doggie treats!

I received outstanding service from the customer Service having problems with the finish results after using the machine, it did not resolved the problem but I love the machine and will still use the finish result for my compost and as mulchI have to update my review, still getting hard compost out of the machine and I try to use it for some of my house plants and got nothing but mold and Knets all over the plants after a couple of days. I did collect all that hard stuff and will use it in my outdoor compost.

I had been considering getting a composter for a while, and I finally decided to go for it. I made the purchase on December 6th and used it approximately twice a week. Everything was working smoothly until January 19th.Unfortunately, I encountered an issue where the bucket doesn't fit properly inside the composter, and the top lid won't latch, despite trying various solutions without success.Additionally, when I initially bought the composter, I also ordered a spare filter. However, my Amazon order for the filter was canceled, as it was never delivered, and it seems the filters are only available from China.In summary, based on my experience, this composter may not be built for long-term durability, and obtaining replacement filters from China can be challenging.

How to turn the voice off? too loud!!The company never reply!!

Works great, we turn it on at night and it is finished in the morning.

I have seen other customers are having the same issues we are having. After a few months of using this machine, which we only used like 3 to 4 times a week, it stops graining it is dry but stops there, very disappointing. Also does anybody knows when we supposed to change the filter and where can we buy a new filter, I don’t see it in Amazon. If QMCAHCE is reading this, can you please reply to my questions, also would be helpful to advise how to fix the graining issue and how do we contact u direct, so we can get reply from you. Thanks
